GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING.

I'm busy working with a gentle eye on the forum. Trying to be so good on LCHF today, but super cold so yearning for a carb overload LOL

Soup to keep you ticking along. Some good low carb soups floating around forum. Search forum or give @debrasue a shout she is a good storage of low carb ingredience source. Yummy. Even a carrot one wouldnt push bgs up as much as potato ones. Cauliflour is used to thicken, I believe. Aspagagus one my fav.

Shame you haven't got a big flask of soup to eat to warm you through @PenfoldAPD

I still can't reply or quote using the app??

But, great idea .... frozen to my bones I feel. But doing the company VAT return so got to keep going - although maybe freezing to death is more enjoyable LOL

Hi all well Ron's main test may not have come yet but blood test has come back normal hba1c has come in at 44 same as last time . So we are still no closer to finding what the problem is .

44 is a very good result. Well done to both of you. :) :) :)
What is GP saying about it all? Wasn't MS ruled out but you suspected something else? What investigation is due to be carried out and by who? Did Ron get talked into occupational health?
Have you got plenty of support @tina_marie ?

An early good afternoon @amgrundy and @maureen5752 , @13lizanne and @Liam1955 . Not forgetting my 2 mates @eldergarth and @tina_marie . Not forgetting @debrasue and @PenfoldAPD if not too busy working. Oh and where is the hillarious new comer? Drum up the chaps and meet up here when you can. Are you all out xmas shopping yet?
I've been poorly! I've had some sort of virus-type thing - temperature of 103, aching from head to toe, chest infection - and been in bed since Saturday, but I've got up this afternoon, changed the bed, had a shower and washed my hair, gave myself a pedicure and now I'm lying here on my crisp, snowy sheets, fragrant, fluffy ... and totally cream-crackered!! Ridiculous... I have all the get-up-and-go of a piece of limp spaghetti.

Let's hope the main test comes back soon...

MS was ruled out , gp hasn't really said alot as he is mystified as to what is wrong . We are still awaiting EMG study results .Nothing about occupational health as yet .

Oh no. Where did that come from? Please tell me you haven't change your diet too dramatically? You've run yourself down with too much work. You pushed yourself too much. Not working more for xmas money, are you? Don't run yourself into the ground. Know your limits, misses!

Any idea how long they take to come through? How is boxing off for house move coming along?

Check out the low-carb recipes on the food network.com @PenfoldAPD - they have stuff like low-carb garlic mash, Southern fried chicken (one for @Cumberland !) and fried onion rings, as well as loads of other yummy recipes. Great for low-carb comfort eating to beat those carb cravings.
DISCLAIMER : You might want to take what I say with a pinch of salt this week, however, as I have indulged in wholemeal spelt bread every day! Not as bad as it could be, I suppose - it does give me a spike, but I seem to stay under 7.5 and it drops quite quickly. Can't leave it alone though... :(

Ron rung dead mill hospital yesterday and they said it could be anytime . It was three weeks yesterday since he had it done . Estate agent has just been . Results from hospital can take up to four weeks .

Good evening ladies and gents

Bright sunny but cooler today

Hope you are all doing fmr

Good Afternoon Folks :).
Just waiting for the Birth of the First Grandchild - Labour is still happening. :)

Wow! Staggers back in alarm... I haven't - honest - I swear, Miss!!!
Seriously, I know that I do tend to overestimate my capabilities and get frustrated when I can't be the clockwork bunny I was 10 years ago, but I really haven't been doing more than usual this time. I'm frequently unlucky at this time of year health-wise for some reason, (swine flu, ordinary flu, norovirus - I get 'em all), but then I'm relatively fit for the rest of the year.
I am learning my limits (reluctantly)... is that OK?
(Love you! Pot. Kettle. Black. ;))

Can't wait to hear the news........

Have you decided what he/she is going to call you and R?

Big hugs to everyone, (including the new addition when he/she pops out!)
