Hi doing all the right things just need to understand what my body is doing as I always end up getting blurred vision, headaches and a feeling of falling. This happened 4 times today and went from 4.1 so ate jelly babies which then went to 6.8 and hour later felt bad again so blood 4.00 the had tea and went to 7.1.........now all the symptoms again and back at 4.1....I can cope with most of the feeling but not the one where my left eye is bulging or going to pop.

Are you taking any medication? or modifying the amount of carbs you eat? Sounds like you're bouncing between highs and lows - and it's a bit like a roller coaster unfortunately. You might want to check out the reactive hypoglycemia sub-forum. Most people find that lowering carbs evens out the BG peaks and troughs.

Was your blood sugar higher at diagnosis? If so, your symptoms could be due to your body being used to higher levels and panicking when you go towards the low end of normal. This should gradually improve.

Hi all thanks for replies, I am not on meds as reacted to them and not had any carbs this day, but try to keep to less than 100 a day.
Can't get appt with nurse till 12th dec

I think it could be either, you are getting symptoms of fluctuating blood glucose levels.
The reason could be something you still are eating that spikes you.

The other, From my own experience, those symptoms happen because your body is telling you that it doesn't like what you are doing. I believe that you have become more sensitive to above normal levels, I can feel it if I come out of ketosis.
It could be your awareness of what is happening has increased.

If these symptoms persist, go to your GP.
Keep checking your blood glucose levels.

Are you sure it's diabetes related and not something like a sinus and or inner ear infection causing your problems? I would if it were me be going to see the Dr for clarification as not everything and anything is diabetes related.
