My lass
This is what my boyfriend of 15 years wrote today while I was visiting my mum.darrens full of cold and we dont want mum to get it.hes a very private person and not very demonstrative at all.hes my rock.x
It made me cry. Tomorrow is day 5 for me,my results today sre high but ive had 3 things to eat today.an egg at breakfast a pear at lunch and a dry thin cracker with a wafer thin piece of cheese for tea.day 5 I'm coming to get you !!!

That is a lovely thing for him to do, and it shows that you have a bedrock of support at home and now bunch of supporters on the internet - The internet gets a lot of bad press in bringing out the worst in people, but it also brings out the best too and all to often that does not get acknowledged.

There is a whole bunch of stuff on here about how family members can help those with diabetes that your partner might find interesting.
I'm a newbie myself, so I've no idea what the technical rules are for the forum, but I have seen a number of people post about relatives with diabetes as opposed to being diagnosed themselves, so I can't see why he shouldn't just join if he wants to.

A week ago, being where you are today, was probably unimaginable, that hairy Goliath has definitely got a few bruised knees from the kicking he's getting from David ! you just need to start punching him where it really hurts next! :)

So looking forward to saying day 5. Ive by no means beaten this but I'm trying so hard and would never even attempted eating like this if I didnt have people like you helping me along the way.these forums are a must have x x x

@Jogreen21

All the small victories add up and you have achieved so much in the last week, your change in attitude and newfound determination sends waves of hope across the internet, you should be very proud of yourself :)

You are doing brilliantly, especially with your eating. You may well find your moods stabilize as time goes on too.

Hey, brilliant for eating and your 15 year bf!!

Fantastic to read you have added variety and a piece of fruit in....

Moods will stabilise gradually as levels lower and as your body changes its nutrition.
