I thought peanuts are low glycemic food so it should not raise blood sugar very much. Did you eat anything else besides peanuts?

Half of a 375mg packet, and it was not the salad we had for dinner last night that did it.How many peanuts did you eat.
It might have just been a case of too many peanuts. I love peanuts.and they don't raise my BS but I also try not to eat too many of them plus a always buy mine from the bill bins at Pak n Save because they are the lowest in carbs.

My bgs rose as day progressed on protein, especially nuts if eaten inbetween meals and too many.Too much protein do increase blood sugar slowly but it does not spike blood sugar like how simple carbs do. I hope I am making sense.
