Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Well done everyone. I am letting the side down. 79.6 arrgh. Not been feeling so well this week either. I have been going to diet doctor for recipes since January and felt great. I fell off the straight and narrow a week ago with chilli beans for friends, one of whom is a vegan. I have also had lentils and 4 lidl rolls with cheese. I thought I was exercising enough to cope but it is mainly gardening as a volunteer and on the lottie. I can only walk a mile before my hip fails so it can be a bit difficult. Back to diet doctor. Guess treats on Sunday and my birthday next week are out. Will just have to suffer and eat steak . Putting candles in boiled rhubarb will be interesting. Lol.
No such thing as letting the side down. We all have ups and downs. Better not to worry about slow weeks when you're feeling poorly, wait till your on the mend then resume normal service. Until then, your birthday comes once a year, enjoy your rhubarb;)

Maybe slightly small

Maybe slightly smaller portions? I know I used to have too much on my plate, I've got used to less each meal. I know you work really hard at the exercising are you changing shape with all your body conditioning?:)

yes my food is around 2200 calories at the moment daily, I burn around 6000 calories at fitness every week.... I don´t think I eat big portions either.... but the 1000 calorie diet daily has gone , I simply cant do that... some of the days I burn 2000 calories and eat 2000 calories... it equals like I didn´t eat at all that day...:hungover: so the next day I am much hungrier... and eat like 2200 calories... compared to my effort I dont think I can eat less... :pompous: maybe because I already have been on 1000 calories daily for half a year... and my body will not accept that anymore...the first 6 month it was much easier

well yes I look much better and more slim and my face has gone thinner now I have smiling wrinkles for the first time in my life... actually 3 in each chin :);):rolleyes:

I've put on 2lbs in 3 days in a determined effort to gain using low carb high calorie smoothies..... 2 a day at around 800 cals each, plus my regular evening meal....

Pleased with the wight gain but it's trashed my fbg completely.

Going to have to rethink I guess.
It seems to be a delicate balance. Good luck. You'll get there.:)

Well maybe you have already answered your question, if your body shape is changing, muscle is denser than fat....

well you have a point there...
It could be the case. If you are burning 6k calories a week (say 1k/day), guessing your BMR at 2k/day, less 2k/day eaten then it looks like you are in deficit. How accurately are you checking your input calories? I bought some kitchen scales (OCD I know) and now I dont eat anything at home before it is weighed/measured and recorded.

actually very accurately.. I eat like 16200 calories a week and burn at fitness 5800-6600 calories plus what I burn on a normal day sedentary lifestyle which I think is around 7 x 1450 calories = 10150 calories
so 16167 minus 16750 calories burned when excercising the most ...

well that explains it all... seems I only have a deficit of 500-1000 calories a week :cyclops::confused::D:cool: well then it is hard to loose a lot... last week a deficit of 765 calories.. or about that...

think I must aim for like 1800 calories on average instead ... to loose like 0.5 kg

the bodytracker at my fitness says I have gained 1.6 kg of muscles in 9 days... and then 0.4 kg in the next week.... not really sure if that can be true at all.. and my fat mass has gone down too... don´t think it is even possible at all for a woman..:woot: Freulein Schwartzenegger raising

Freema. darling, Muscle weighs more than fat!

So, you are doing spectacularly.

thanks for giving me courage.
still puzzled about how much muscle one can gain in less than a month...
don´t think 2 kg is realistic in a woman...

my ACTH is more or less absent lately, so only building the adipose stuff.

:(
I need mine tested/retested. I need to be assertive at my next dn appointment.
Checked discharge letter and I'm being asked to have another abdominal ultrascan as still showing mild infection but chest is clear (Apparently). I had one 2-3 yrs ago but no problems in abdominal area. NEXT- Woman's area. Any problems I'll ask for a hysterectomy. Hormones are the bain of my life.
I'm hoping scar tissue off 32yrs ago not coming to bit me in the bum. Literally.
Weighed myself and I'm 130.40kg so in keeping with last week on wednesday. Fingers crossed I don't add just either same or less.
New meds starting in earnest this morning.
One is lansoprazol. Not sure if it will change my weight loss dynamics yet.
Had a treat with hypo late last night. As didnt have birthday cake a few weeks back. I saved it for a rainy day. Ha ha.
