No such thing as letting the side down. We all have ups and downs. Better not to worry about slow weeks when you're feeling poorly, wait till your on the mend then resume normal service. Until then, your birthday comes once a year, enjoy your rhubarbWell done everyone. I am letting the side down. 79.6 arrgh. Not been feeling so well this week either. I have been going to diet doctor for recipes since January and felt great. I fell off the straight and narrow a week ago with chilli beans for friends, one of whom is a vegan. I have also had lentils and 4 lidl rolls with cheese. I thought I was exercising enough to cope but it is mainly gardening as a volunteer and on the lottie. I can only walk a mile before my hip fails so it can be a bit difficult. Back to diet doctor. Guess treats on Sunday and my birthday next week are out. Will just have to suffer and eat steak . Putting candles in boiled rhubarb will be interesting. Lol.
