Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Fell totally off the waggon Yesterday so 6.7 mmol

Ate 2960 calories of which 191 gr carbs and 205 gr protein , burned 1670 calories at fitness
Falling off the wagon is not such a bad thing when you know you'll get back on it. Go girl.:)

Hang in there honey, I have no experience of insulin, but I have to assume it gets easier? Stay strong please.
Insulin is frustrating because it is so demanding. It isn't something you can postpone because you are busy. It can bite you seriously if you are complacent.

I fervently hope you don't have to start on insulin. I am on novorapid 3-4 times a day, lantus for overnight. Bolus injections from time to time, and still I have highs. The hypos are the worst!

Your nhs medical team should be with you throughout problematic times. When you seeing them next?

Afternoon everyone

Saw a 4.1 this morning, and that was on my NHS supplied, normally higher reading meter.

Codefree made it 5.1, but I'm happy with either.

Had to fly off the Bradford before posting this morning for a pre-surgery assessment, including a session on an exercise bike while wired and piped up to God knows what machine.....
.
It seems though that I am quite a bit fitter than I thought I was!
