Weekly weigh in - Fridays

76.7 Kg this morning. Down from 77.1 Kg this time last week. Will be doing intermittent fasting this weekend to try to nudge the weight lower. :)

I have the Tanita BC543 digital scales which show % body fat, %visceral fat etc. Similar price to the Omron BF511.

Whilst I wanted some of the body composition data, for you, that you can use the hand grasps, which include the digital display at outstretched arm level, might make reading your displayed weight easier for you.

That particular model is the upper end of their range, with grasps, so there are others more moderately priced, depending on your desire for the additional body composition data.

For me, they have been money well spent. I like the idea I can track visceral fat levels for any potential increase, which I'd like to avoid, where possible.

Up .1 at 77.8. Could be worse as I have been less active. Seem to have spent the week sitting. On the positive side I have 51 weeks before I expect a repeat of that. When it stops raining my barrow and I are going for a work out. Have a great week everyone

Don't feel bad, we all start somewhere and I never give my actual weight as not happy to admit either where I was or where I am now - so just try and keep to the 'wow' I have lost or 'hey' stayed the same - the horrible 'oh no' I have put on happens (well does to me) but it is important to accept it happens and try to stay focused and carry on. You are almost 3 stone lighter in a year that is amazing - well done. It has taken me two years and 3.5 stone lighter - as far as I am concerned a slow weight loss was what I intended against diabetic and doctors advice because I looked at it took me over 30 years to put all the weight on and if I am going to lose it and keep it off I had to do it slowly so I could adapt to the changes needed.
 
76.2 Kg down from 76.7 Kg last week. :)

This week I tried spiralized courgette spaghetti a couple of times, stopped eating the very small amount of rice I was having previously and stopped eating Jordan's Luxury Nut bars, eating raw nuts instead.
 
I've lost lost 5.9kg since I started trying to lose weight at the start of April when I discovered my blood sugar was sky high. I use the WW tracking app, which sent me a lovely message to say I've lost 5% of my body mass and this will help stop me developing T2 diabetes. The irony of this is not lost on me.
