As you are not on sulfonylureas it is very unlikely you would have a hypo at 4.1, so unless you are shaky you can exercise fasted.![]()
Good morning all
Woke up at 4,1 mmol/l so decided that was toolow to exercise on. I had a slice of watermelon, which will have to count as breakfast and went on my 5km, 52 minute morning walk.
Came back to measure 5,1 mmol/l, happy with that.
Have a great start to the week

To be honest I don't feel quite right when in the low fours. Not hypo symptoms but I can always tell, slight headache and a feeling of being anxious. As you are not on sulfonylureas it is very unlikely you would have a hypo at 4.1, so unless you are shaky you can exercise fasted.

I like them when they are not overly ripe/sweet and I don't have them often. I had some today because I was at 4,1 and was about to embark on a 5km walk. At the end of it I was at 5.5 and back down to 5. 0 an hour later (2hours after consumption of the watermelon). For me, on this occasion it was a success I would say.Watermelon is lovely BUT it also has high sugar levels. Sends my BG sky high
Thank you, I will.@pavlosn take a look at the "Naturefile" thread on this forum to see British scenery and wildlife
