What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.9 at 5:45 am.

Drove out to "The Shed" yesterday to see what needed doing after the rain. All good, the rain water tanks are all full, and the overflow from them has filled the dam we have.

This saves me a load of money by not getting 5000 litres of water delivered. :D

Grass is starting to green up so the local fauna that live on the property have something decent to eat for a change. The same thing is happening on my neighbours property as well.

Bore da bore da rydych chi wedi cysgu'r noson drwyddo draw. Bore da bore da i chi ddal di chi a chi a chi. Well my delightful cups of frothy diabetic cappuccino I went and had my flu jab after which I demanded my ice cream from the white coated vamp. She became quite irritated and demanded to know what I was blithering on about? At that point I staged a sit in protest in her surgery. I am currently sat in the back of a police van on my way for a day in a cell ( certainly beats walking my silly dawg and working) I do however have a 99 ice cream with 3 flakes in it. My blood sugar is also 3. 0mmols. I'll teach the NHS to mess with me. Have a wonderful day folks. Can any of you post my bail please?

Woke up at a higher than normal 6,1 mmol as a result of the Indian takeaway I had last night. I did not have any rice but I did have papadum and a small bit of Indian bread. I did not test after the meal as it was quite a late dinner and I fell asleep before it was time to test. Perhaps just as well. It was a nice carry!

Determined to burn down the extra sugar, I pushed myself a bit more during my morning walk today. As a result I took a minute off my personal best time for the 5 kilometers.

My time of 46,25 minutes will not cause MO Farrah any sleepless nights but then again I am not in competition with MO. My only opponent is myself and all this talk of personal bests is just my way to keep myself motivated.

At the end of all that sugars did come down to 5,1 mmol.

So mission accomplished on both fronts!

Have a great day everyone.

Impressive. Walk I can do no problem. Run is just beyond me at the moment. Maybe it us a mental thing or maybe my body knows it's limits

Keep it up!

Walking fast can be just as good, yesterday I overtook 2 joggers along Walton on the Naze in Essex with a peak of 126 bpm and 422 calorie burn.

Day 6 on my " Low Insulin " one meal a day 100% nutrients diet., Om3/Om 6 balanced diet.

Fasting blood sugar 4.4, average for the previous day 4.8 high of 6.6 after my 3 course 1000 calorie meal.

I have lost 4.6 kg and 4 cm off my waist in 6 days flat whilst eating so much at one meal a day that I might burst.

This is insane - but splendid ! long may it continue

Please pardon a really daft, stupid question but is it sustainable long term?

Fantastic results by the way
