What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all, I tested at 7.30 and got a 6 so tested again and got a 5.8 so it must be about right.... Weather wise its a bit like being in a car wash system here , lashing rain and wind and the cat not knowing what to do....

Give the kitty a sponge and a bottle of Turtle Wax. Cats need to earn their keep. Mine just loafed around all day and demanded food

Thank you. Though, honestly, I have to say this weather puts a bit of a damper on things -- and I expect that we've probably seen the last of the good weather for this year.

You're right -- no sense in worrying about things, you can't change, and letting them get you down. Today will be a great day.

Good morning,7.7 at 6.30am.?.............still reeling from my confrontation with the receptionist at the health centre yesterday.I explained how I had been in pain for three days and needed a doctors appointment.I was told I could have one in three weeks time!I looked suitably astonished and was told no emergency appointments for the day were left did I consider this an emergency.I was too upset to argue and did my version of a flounce out of the centre!It was that or bursting into tears........I didn't handle it too well did I? Im phoning this morning and hope to speak to a doctor........They are usually fine just the luck of the draw with that particular receptionist.Havnt had a GP appointment for six months,but never had a problem before.Rant over !!

I am taking the day off work and dumping my doggie onto my niece who will look after her for me. 4.00pm I am going watching the new Blade Runner movie in 3D then food then into Liverpool to bars and clubs and moire bars and more clubs. Saturday will be a rather torrid time for me I suppose. You'd think at the age of 28 I really should know better by now.

The cat is a political barometer. She begs to go out then sits on the door step with the door open, sometimes dashes out or dashes back upstairs. It so reminds me of the political debate on the eec. It however is far cuter
 
BG of 5.5 today. Just been to see my DN and she was very impressed with my progress after her sort of “ kick in the pants “ of three months ago. She is also diabetic herself which makes a big difference in my books. Showed her the graphs of the BG results on my ipad which she liked a lot. They are good if i may say so myself.
