What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I had the best chili on Wed. I t was at one of my favorite restaurants here. Nice big bowl, there was so much I only ate half, and ate the rest yesterday.
Wow sounds lovely im debating wether to go out for something later at the moment cant be bothered to get dressed just chilled out for most of morning although sometimes doing nothing is just wat the doctor ordered so to speak

Hi Pavlosn What a lovely sight to see people on a beach in October you'd freeze here, fabulous photos has usual. We have never been to Cyprus but we should look to paying it a visit for a holiday we have been looking at other places to holiday and it looks a lovely place. Will look to you for more information on where on the island to stay before we make arrangements,if you wouldn't mind. But it won't be next year has our holiday is already booked. K
Just ask away whatever you wish to know. Worth giving a thought about what time of the year to come over. Most tourists come in the summer but main attraction then is the sun and the sea. It is generally far too hot for sightseeing. If you want to spent time travelling around the island the best time to come over is usually spring time.

The fog has lifted and now bright sun and blue sky it's a lovely day and set to last all day

Best wishes to you Kathleen enjoy the sun

Hi Cumberland I would have but by the time hubby had watched the Australia v England rugby on tv this morning the sun had gone behind a cloudbut we still went out in afternoon, enjoyed it. I shouldn't complain he'd just finished is nights and hadn't gone to bed, what he will do when rugby's on, definitely not for my benefit haha! K

Hi Pavlosn we don't do holidays in height of summer too hot for us we usually go May, we love to see places getting around to other villages usually by local transport gives us the chance to experience how people live. We mix it with a little relaxing either pool or beach couple of hours we cannot lie their all day like some do. That's not us has long has we can get out and about on transport or walking we love it, so I wonder if you could recommend what part of the island would perhaps suit us best and we will have a look at who to book with and self catering or hotel accommodation. We are always a year ahead with our holidays then we have it to look forward to. Regards Kathleen

@Granny_grump nothing wrong with 4.8, you probably just aren’t used to the feeling of “normal” levels. Eventually as your levels drop more you’ll get used to the feeling.
Keep up the awesome work

Hi Troubled1 I have been in 4s last year but they don't suit me I feel dizzy and disoriented 5s are ok low 6s but has I Drive has well it is illegal to drive below 5. So I've been informed on this site I can believe it has it really makes me feel unsteady. K

Have not posted for a few days been feeling a little down, but last three FBG levels were 6.5 then 4.9 and this morning 5.7.

Latest HbA1c as of yesterday 35.
If I recall, there was a recent bereavement regarding a diabetic relative who passed away, so feeling a little down is more than a little understandable. My commiserations by the way.

And my congratulations on an excellent Hba1c score! Well done!

It is fantastic to have you back with us. You have been missed. Your diabetic numbers are excellent. I hope that you are doing ok?

ગુડ સવારે તમે મારા બધા દંડ ડાયાબિટીક ખૂબ ઓછી મોર અને મગફળી. This morning I spun the great diabetic tombola when I stuck my hand in one got a marble, a 7 year old Malteser ( quite gross, I know but I just had to eat it) abd a bonus ball with 3.2 on it. My blood sugars are 3.2mmols. My new bed arrives today and I am currently sat behind the front door in my new pyjamas and a smoking jacket waiting to go, go go. My dog thinks I have lost the plot. I haven't lost the plot have I?
