What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hey guys :) keep forgetting to check in here lol, weather has been horrendous the last few days, howling wind, snow on and off, absolutely freezing! :(, on the ball this year though, all my Christmas presents are wrapped, all my cards are written and even got 4 presents so far for the OH's birthday in January :) anyways enough from me haha, twas a 4.7 @ 6:50am x

Hi Ymdawd yes a good few years ago the hospital physio loaned me one for my back,but I thought it wasn't quite strong enough to relieve the pain for me at that time.
I started paying privately to have my back manipulated and their machine after treatment was great it was like electronic fingers massaging your back quite deaply great. Also local collage trainee 3rd year students do lots of different types of massage also very good, but these heat pads will hopefully nip it in the bud before it becomes a bigger problem?

Morning...finally scraped home at 6pm yesterday after a long night & day on duty with just two hours sleep...a little something to eat...watched rubbish TV...nodded off...then bed at 01:00...up early...snowing here steadily...despite the early start a sound sleep...coffee tastes good...breakfast...then to walk the dog...will be interesting...he's never seen snow before...woke to a 5.5...a little higher than normal...but...after yesterdays shenanigans...I'll take that.
 
Morning all from a wet and Wiltshire! 8.1 this morning, still all over the place. Was 11 last night at bedtime. I know it's because I'm in pain but it still doesn't help. I'm hoping it will settle down a bit next week.

I hope the coughs and colds are on the mend now. Have a good day.
 
Good morning....6.2 today.Very cold, -2 here but only a sprinkling of snow.Hope you are all keeping warm and the colds are improving.
@Ymdawd Ive never tried a tens machine,but have heard of others having good results.Hope your travel went well, the snow and temperatures further north are more severe than here.

good morning all :)

3.9 today

perhaps it's the cold weather, I had a few berries and some cheese and went back to bed for an hour until the house warmed up. I was so very glad of my hot water bottle last night. We have a freezing cold frosty but bright looking morning here :happy: so perhaps I'll get a walk in today. The weather radar for further South looks a bit wicked though :sorry: Take care everyone
 
5.1 this morning slightly higher than the last few days but I prefer the 5's rather than the 4's as the 4's leave me feeling a bit wobbly.

Snowing quite steadily here now and rather chill.

I have recently bought a pedal exerciser so I can do a bit even if I can't get out for a walk.
