Eat pasta. It's looking like increasingly dim-witted to slavishly avoid food groups as if they were they were poison. Smart people eat everything in moderation.

I know, it's a generalised comment and nobody would disagree that eating everything in moderation isn't so bad. Or is it? I think I object to being called dim witted when in reality she could do with checking her facts.

And checking her bg ;)

*Hi 5s my fellow dimwits!

Another dimwit here too. I must be so stupid, I mean who would give up their pasta to feel incredibly healthy and full of the joys of life when they could eat all that lovely pasta with all that cheese and lovely sauces and feel like ****? Yep, must be a dimwit!

Cheque on the way.
Crossed "Not Negotiable".
You'll understand why if you try to negotiate it.;)

Cheques? What are they? I only deal in internet transfers these days! :joyful:

Everything in modetatiin is code for I am goung to ear whatever I want in the amount I subjectively define as' moderate'.
If I was naturally slim and not diabetic then i too would defend my comfort food habits even in The National Press!

My objections to being called a dimwit is that the woman assumes that everyone is without some measure of metabolic dysfunction and that she has so obviously not fact checked. She is pandering to her own audience. I wonder if she also judges peoples' appearance too?

Yup, she’s probably just trying to take the wheels off the bandwagons.

Well I don't like low carb but I certainly agree with low pasta! Not worth it in my opinion - you get so little pasta per 15g carbs that it hardly satisfies your hunger. And it just makes you sad, when you sit there counting out your pasta in a little measuring cup, and everyone else at the table is dumping piles of it on their plates.
