struggling big time

Well what can I say, what a waste of my time seeing the DN this afternoon.
I explained my problems, she looked at me and said, you are not due for a review until sept/Oct.
I again express my concerns and still got told not due to be soon.
I went out, asked to speck to the practice manager, to be told can only see him by appt. Then got told he will call me by 5.30. No call yet and very much doubt I will get the call.
I did mention the blood test booked for next Tuesday. To be told they have no ides what the blood test is for as not due for the hcb1a until later in the year. I walked out before I lost my temper.

Oh Ally. I am shocked and speechless. . Some time ago you had a lady helping you, and she sorted out your GP on your behalf at that time. Was it your Pysch? (apologies if it wasn't). Can you telephone her and see if she can sort your surgery out yet again?

How stupid of them. Review due or not you need support.

I had a cpn arranged by my psych. Yes she did sort something out for me at the surgery.
I have not seen or heard from her since 4th of January. So no idea if I still have her.

Ally - That's truly, truly astonishing.

Unfortunately crisis, whether emotional, psychological or physical rarely work to a pre-assigned timetable.

Yes I defiantly need help and am trying to get help before things turn too bad. I am aware that the neuropathy has now reached up to my left knee. That scares me. Am trying so hard to get any help

To be honest, I just Don, t know where or what to do to get some kind of help.
Does my surgery want me to get so bad that I end up needing hospital treatment. With the state the nhs is in, I would soon get moaned at if I end up costing the nhs more money just because my surgery won,t help before anything serious happens. If I didn't, t have bipolar, I way I am being treated, then I would soon be mentally ill

I'm livid.
Pester them til that Practice Manager arranges appointment to see HIM. God I wish we lived in the same area. God help them.
Ally.
I want to do more for you.

I will private message you once kids are asleep.

An e-mail to your MP is now needed and I need you to call practice tomorrow and ask for their e-mail address for practice manage so he can be CC 'd into your e-mail. Maybe they will see sense?

If not, their loss. A letter from you MP will shake them up and resolve. MP will need an additional e-mail from you to give them permission to act on your behalf. Do it hun. Mine is excellent.

I'm disgusted with your practice..... do they talk to each other?

Ally - I would certainly not let the Practise Manager off the hook on his call back to you. If he doesn't call by mid-morning tomorrow, he needs a call.

Please do write down what you were promised, and record the time or times of any calls you make tomorrow, because I think you may need to make a formal complaint.

Which have a page on complaining about your GP, which includes template letters.

To be honest, I have gone past caring and think sod the surgery

I had written a letter to my gp and practice manager around October last year, not even had a reply from either. I can understand one letter going missing but not two.
Tonight I read on the surgery website with their latest inspection thing, and they got good on everything. My mind boggles with that

I can understand that. It must be so devastating.

I hope you manage to sleep tonight and maybe have another think in the morning.

Ally, I'm so sorry to read that this continuing saga is just getting worse - my heart goes out to you. Whilst I've been reading catch-up on the thread, I have been thinking the same as DCUKMod mentioned above, that you need to write down everything, in as much detail and the right sequence as far as you can remember. Even if you can't remember exact dates when you did things, or people told you something, a rough date would be ok (better than nothing, anyway). I'm talking not just this latest thing today, but for as far back as you can remember - the threads and posts you have on here should be able to help, because that's a kind of diary of a lot of events. Hopefully you've got copies of any letters, or emails, or other written stuff that you've sent or received. If you set it all in chronological order, it should give a really good summary of all that's happened.

You may not feel like doing a record at the moment, but it will give you something positive to think about - and it will help if you do get anybody else involved - for example, an MP or the CCG, CQC, or whoever. And it will help to channel any anger or fed-up-ness that you have right now, by doing something positive! It might even help you to sleep a bit better :)

Try not to get too down ((( hugs ))

Disgraceful. I'm sure it's beyond frustrating...this/these people are contributing to your battle on the wrong side). While it's probably the last thing you feel like doing...keep calling, keep writing, keep on it - direct your energy to tackling this dross. I really hope things get easier for you very soon.

I managed some sleep.
Am not quite so angry this morning.
What I am most annoyed about is, I know I am struggling and need a bit of help, I am not being listened too and am looking long term that if my surgery Don, t help, in the long run, I will end up costing the nhs more money by not helping. The nhs is already struggling

I will start a bit later and go through all my postings at write down dates from the posts.
