When I found out I was pre-diabetic about 4 weeks ago, I went straight onto a low carb diet (around 30g/day). I lost 2 kg quickly but then last week I’ve lost nothing at all although my clothes are looser which is great.
My blood glucose reduced to under 6 throughout the day but the last 2 days I have had higher readings and usually before dinner in the evening. The only ‘naughty’ food today was a small biscuit ( about 4g carb) and still within daily carb goal.
I guess this could mean I can never have even a small ‘treat’ occasionally :-( is that how it is for you guys??
