Unfortunately there is no viable alternative that I know of that are effective we just have to put up with it till the pollen count goes down.

I have tried bioflavonoids and do take vitamin C but does not help that much.

@DJC3 Thanks for the compliment but I am not sure it is fully deserved. I do come from a family of "storers" who always wanted to ensure there was plenty of everything. We tend to buy wine in cases and we also have a range of spirits. I would say in an average month I wouldn't touch any of them. (The good ones are not on display following no 1 sons earlier efforts.)
