Before dinner 5.2. started eating, belly pork, cherry tomatoes, asparagus and crackling. Got less than half way through and felt horribly dizzy, nauseous and sweating. Took a reading whilst feeling horrible, 8.1. Feeling a lot better 15 minutes later.

Any ideas?

Are you sickening for something that hasn't shown itself fully yet?

Were they your normal brand of cherry toms? Some of them are very sweet at the moment.

Did you wash your hands before that test, or were you in a hurry because you felt so rotten?

Very sweet cherry tomatoes. Didn't wash hands, couldn't standat the time, I will test again in a minute. Don't think I',m coming down with anything.

I suggest in that case that your fingers were contaminated with bits of food and that high reading was inaccurate. One tiny microscopic bit of juice from the tomato, or other food, can so easily cause these high readings. Let us hope that is the case.

Thanks. Just nearly gave myself a heart attack. Washed hands and tested 1.2! Did a control test, normal. Did another test 7.4. went and got my other tester 7.1. phew. Feel slightly better but still a little wobbly

Took it after the event and it as ok. Unfortunately didn't have the presence of mind to take it at the time.

Possibly. I am starving hungry and my hair feels as though it is standing on end. May well be coming down with something.

Going to have some cherries and cream and curl up with a good book.

An early night looks called for. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

I read that tomatoes can be an issue for some. You will read literature out there which supports tomatoes as fruit. If you only got half through, it may be the result of something that occurred before the dinner.

I just managed one cherry tomato. I may give them a miss.
Ketones are the highest the stick will go. I have just had 8g worth of buttered water biscuits. I think I need to eat more.
