I get so many, even when I haven't ticked it on my prescription. I got loads given to me before I left the hospital 2 years ago! I just wanted to know if there's anything I can do, like give them back to the doctors? I don't need them I have too many. They need to stop with this, as its a waste of money and someone else could probably use them. Is it just me it happens too or is there other people with this problem?

I know I probably can't sell them to people with diabetes, but any suggestions?

Just don’t take them at the chemists. When things turn up for me unticked on my prescription I say no thanks and he puts them back on the shelf.
If you think your Dr is incurring unnecessary expense go in and get them removed from your prescription until such a time as you will need them again.
The ones you have, just keep wading through. Now using a Libre and sugar surfing I can use 6 or 7 a day.

There is a UK charity that might take them. I think @Jaylee or @DCUKMod had the info.

What kind of needles are they and where are you geographically?

Tony

Hi @Alex_B sadly they will be binned if you return them to the NHS, sending them to IDDT is the best idea, will get to the people who really need them but cannot afford them, hope you are well :)
