Productive morning.....visit to florist to look at wedding flowers...just a bouquet for me and buttonhole for @Clivethedrive ...think I have seen what I will get....also purchased some silk roses from another store to make something myself for the table or to put on top of the cake....something else to tick off my list....
...planning to spend a short time in the garden before sitting down and relaxing for the rest of the day....hope everyone is having a good day and that the sun is shining wherever you are....

Done more today and now stinking of woodsmoke. Decided to set up the new incinerator and burnt some of last year’s prunings but had to pause. They were stored on the compost heap. I discovered that some small bumble bees had made a nest in grass cuttings. Ahhhhhh

I've occasionally found chickens wandering loose on the road, particularly in quiet country lanes. All you need is to line up your car, press on the loud pedal and hey, presto! Chicken for dinner

I am sitting here cooling off after having the sauna on too long, sipping Tulsi tea and pondering upon the route I will take over the moors on my bike today. Biggest thing on the agenda is, “what road offers the greatest possibility for fresh roadkill?”

Just started a book called “A pocket mirror for heroes” by Balthazar Gracian. Don’t panic, it’s philosophy, not super hero training for dummies.
