Hi everyone,

9 weeks in and I’ve been using carbs and Cals (as suggested by the dietician) and Dafne online to record my readings. Love carb and cals for eating out etc. Any other suggestions that others are using?

I see you’re on insulin so I can’t comment on insulin data, but I use MySugr as I like the estimated HbA1c and also Glucose Companion for the graphs. Oh and Nutracheck for nutritional info

Thanks, I’ll look them up.

I use nutrachek and mySugr too I think they give a good balance, tracking food, carbs, calories (if you want/need to) plus track weight loss progress etc and love the mySugr for the estimated HbA1c
Have you given your mySugr monster a name? Mine is called Monkey :p

I didn’t name my monster but I did eventually find how to switch his voice off! So annoying! :joyful::banghead:

It might be worth seeing if there are any apps with meter you use. I love the contour next one as it uploads the data from the meter to my mobile, has graph, averages, insulin input (might be useful), you can send data to your health professionals and you can take pictures of your meals along with readings.

Yes if I have the volume on my phone or iPad when he does that little noise my dog jumps up looking for what made the noise

I use the link to the Fat Secret Australia nutrition info website, as it has the local Australian stores etc.

I also use Diabetes Journal to keep a log on my mobile phone, handy for getting screen shots of my averages.

I mainly rely on the data on my Abbot Freedom Lite meter, as there is plenty of graphs and and logs for my GP to look at.
