Now how could we advise without more info?
Like how much you are willing to pay, new or used, runaround town or rough terrain, engine size, petrol or diesel, etc etc.?

I am gussing to replace a jeep you would want something robust?

Well if you lose the head generally speaking the hair goes with no matter it's color.

When I go back through my family history there are a number of people who started out with heads attached who unfortunately did not end up that way. One notably being William Russell whose head was detached by Jack Ketch on 21 July 1683 at Lincoln's Inn Fields.

Feel free to post medals and hearts and rainbows under my post :)

Kidneys, lipids, urine, bp, ticklishness under feet all fine, no nagging about possibly having too many hypo's, hba1c 38, and:

Another beautiful day! Well done @Antje77 . I'm out for a meal with friends tonight. Hmmmm wonder what low carb delights will be on a pub menu? At least I can combine my evening walk with a night out!
 
So I ordered a bp apparatus. I'm stubborn, and thrifty, and somewhat concerned about pollution. I found all cheapish bp thingies run on batteries, and I figured they would use quite a lot of energy with the pump part. I believe the only things I own on batteries (apart from smartphone and e-reader, but those recharge) are my alarm clock by my bedside and my glucose meter. I'm quite happy with that, and I even bought second hand mechanical kitchen scales when the batteries in my inherited kitchen scales ran out.
Luckily nurse wants to see my mail with bp and stuff in three months, which should give me enough time to learn how to work the manual bp apparatus with a stethoscope :P . Much cheaper than an electronic one, no batteries and it comes with a real cool looking stethoscope!
So now I get to play doctor, listen to the hearts of the dogs and the guinea-pigs and maybe learn to open saves and get rich! Too bad I don't have neighbours to spy on on the other side of the wall.

You might find, in an ideal world, you might run short of hands, bearing in mind one arm will be in the cuff, your other operating the bulb/valve and the third, holding the stethoscope in situ.

No third hand? You may need to find someone to play Doctors and Nurses with.

Three months to work it out. What do you think, will I find someone if I put an add in the local newspaper? Wanted: play-doctor to take blood pressure. :nailbiting:
