What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Thanks @DJC3. This one was a bit of an ordeal for mum but arrived safely at a very healthy 9Lbs 2 oz. Hazel Rosemary P the Rosemary was my mum's name so nice touch.
Both lovely names, and names of plants.
It has always struck me as interesting that some plant names naturally make good people names (Ash, holly, rose, rowan, etc) but others would just seem odd (Beech, daffodil, snapdragon).

I actually know a Tulip and a Lettuce and there was a famous Christmas Day in my village. Never met a Ragwort - yet.

Well I feel cheated now Goonergal...we never did the sugar cubes...perhaps that was the afternoon session when I as absent (with consent) I hasten to add...it really was the most awful course I have ever been to...a complete lack of understanding of how Type 2 can be managed...no alternative views explored...the 'eat well' plate reinforced...no testing...judgement of how we came to be diagnosed (self inflicted was the inference I took from that)...I laughed out loud at the sugar cube avoidance advise...seems appropriate & exceptionally good advice to me;).

Yes, I think it was the afternoon - after they’d passed round the biscuits :banghead:

If I puncture all my wheels at the same time I add "Forfar" onto the front.
(I sense my first moderator ticking off may be imminent).
You see, I would use football teams and one originally from Woolwich would be the strongest:angelic:

Yep. Rich Tea biscuits. I was the only attendee not to eat any of them.
That is a tragic mistake GG...but I have to see the funny side of it...or perhaps I should say ironic...honestly you couldn't make it up could you?...tea & coffee was provided at our Desmond course...if you paid for it...the worse instant coffee you could imagine & there was a bowl of sugar there too...possibly biscuits...but they weren't obvious...maybe saved for the reasonable course attendees.

I got (Rich Tea) biscuits with tea/coffee during the morning and afternoon breaks, and we were provided with white bread chicken/salad sandwiches for lunch. But they were free.

Morning...it appears the higher the temperature the higher my waking BG is...today I woke to a 6.5 & yesterday to a 6.7 which did settle nicely to a 5.2 average for the day...ooh bring on the autumn & some cool breezes...waiting to take Harry for a walk but his sort do not do well in the hot sun...so waiting another hour when that weather forecaster promised it will be cooler...Harry is in agreement with that...

Well I feel slighted now Prem...I didn't even get to stay for lunch:arghh:
