Morning

Another Mel's Cat correction.

After last night running low all night and the Chinese Take (yes it was worth it) out woke up to a 14.7 so inject a correction of 12 units of Aspidistra and I am now finding out juts how aggressive this is as I have dropped 10 in an hour :rolleyes:

Interestingly the xDrip+ alarms did not go off but more on that later :)

OOOOPPPPSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Well going to get something to eat to prevent the oncoming crash and burn. :confused:

On a side note, now 07:34 after stuffing face with 4 yes 4 different types of breakfast cereal I am sat here laughing my head off at xDrip getting upset at a 2.3 and still have IOB as well :hilarious::hilarious: really over estimated that correction dose didn't I? :oldman::rolleyes::hilarious:

Just need to catch the spike in about 3 hours :)

As for not flying it I would just get in the seat and say, "want me out? You'll have to press the eject button, head for the skies chauffeur" :hilarious:
 
Morning,

Ok overnight, pretty much the same as yesterday. My miaomiao/xdrip/blucon free libre is showing a 90 day average blood glucose of 5.9, quite pleased with that. Assuming a 6.1 average, because Libre often reads a little bit lower than a finger prick test for me, that would give me a nice HbA1c of about 5.4% (old money). I have to keep this up for the next couple of months so I appear on Fraser Gibb's statistics.

I want to move into the 6.5% or below bracket, I appear to be on track to achieve this goal. I've been a statistic many times, but not one that has any real influence, or significance, so I'm quite enjoying this.

Anyway, I'm slowly dismantling an old sofa, as it's too big an ask of anyone to get it down the stairs, for free, so got to get on with that. Besides it's very therapeutic/
 
Coo - go AWOL for a couple of weeks on a thread and there's a lot of catch up to do!

Main Paid Work has been occupying most of my mind, with one section having an all-out meltdown about a few things - including finding a way of persuading people I occasionally need some space and just because I've gone silent for a day or so (something I've always needed to do from time to time) it doesn't mean I'm lying in a heap in a hypo I can't treat. Of course, it could and, yes, I'm grateful for people's care and awareness, but ultimately I live alone, by choice, I spend a lot of time outside work alone, by choice, and I have found numerous ways of being as safe as I can. We'll get there... It seems I give some people short shrift on this, and point out it's none of their business, and those I do actually care about I've been relatively repentant about causing them to worry. We've since come up with a system and I've promised not to turn my phones off for 48 hours after a falling out again.

Though, when I thought about some of it a bit more, my world has now been recategorised into a "You get anywhere near me in a hypo and I'm not responsible for what I say or do" category and those who I will trust to do the right things in this circumstance, though it's not been fully tested yet. I have now made a card for when I'm out for a walk waiting for blood sugars to get back up a bit more before I carry on explaining "I'm treating a mild hypo, I'm fine and don't need help, please go away and leave me alone" along with the emergency version which I've had for a while. Mind you, standing studying an A-Z whilst waiting means I say "Just deciding where to go next!" which has worked nicely as well. Maybe a new not blood-stained A-Z of my city is needed soon.
 
Morning y'all, woke at 7 up at 10/6 so reset a phone alarm for 30 mins, had my bolus and successfully snoozed it down to a 7.9 and got up :) I'm on the home straight clearing mums house, skip's full and I'll do the last tip run today, seems the neighbours were on nights and I'm not allowed to hammer on an afternoon which caused a little row as I was hammering :p but they'll get over it....
Happy birthday @karen8967 and have a great day, me I'm having a massive bonfire and have some vegetation to remove with the chainsaw, but that's more to benefit the neighbour as I'm a little bit 'drunked' off still from yesterdays row, I'm tempted to take an electric guitar and an amp if I'm honest :p but anyways, enjoy your weekend.

A bit of a tidy/clear-out this morning. A trip into town to buy some sensors and a spot of lunch. And dinner at the in-laws tonight.
