What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I don't intend to fall asleep in it Saskia...but somehow it happens quite often:)...my 'big phat' comfy chair is an old Laura Ashley wing Chair...I love the high back and the armrests are at just the right height for me....I have to fight the cat & dog for it most of the time...otherwise I wouldn't get a look.

Thanks, Bubbsie. It sounds lovely. I have been looking for a recliner and have found some wingchair recliners. They always look so cosy to me.
 
5.5 Friday morning, here's my social.media post for a bit of a laugh

This time last week I was en route to London for a professional make over. Sarah the make up artist gave me the most wonderful lashes. Longer additions to mine strategically glued along the edge of my eye lid. She told me they would probably drop off in a matter of hours. NOT IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. I've done everything apart from sleep sitting up with my eyes open to nurture these bad boys.

Yesterday I woke up with a fright. A SPIDER....ON MY PILLOW!!! I'm not scared of them but when you are face to face it's a different matter. Then when my eyes focused I realised my glamourous eyes were coming to an end. Well one of them. RIP. but I still had one good eye . I can do some serious winking .. Until today. I just had one strand left when I woke this morning. Which is now floating around in my eyeball as its just fallen off. So from glam eyes to red eyes over night! Oh well it was good while it lasted.

I love it Saskia...;like sitting down with an old friend...I always think I'll just 'rest' my eyes for a second...before I know it...I'm fast asleep.
 
Morning people, got a 7 this morning, it's a blow when you've made an effort to be good and get rewarded with a big number but hey ho you got yo keep on keeping on. We are out early to take our granddaughter to Winchester uni for a look around today probably a 6 hour round trip, the company is always good though. Have a nice day all.
 
Morning all 5.6 this morning. I had an early supper last night without wine as we went to the theatre in the next town involving driving and gone are the days where drink driving was OK. I nearly always have at least one glass of wine so going out might be good for me on more than one front. - around 3 grams of carb per glass they say .....
