Hugs to all of you who need one! \(^o^)/

Just on the way home from a nice day out, managed to find the exact thing I was looking for in a charity shop, although pickings in Waitrose were poor. Only one loaf of LivLife bread, no goat cream or turnips. Unimpressed.

Night folks, just had a cuppa with a couple of sugars and choccy digestives. Been running low since around lunchtime which is very unusual for me. Libre showing 2.7 and finger test at 3.1.

Could this all be related to injecting my usual amounts of insulin in me bum, maybe now I am finally getting the full dose. Think this will have to be cut back, trial and error

Sleep well peeps hope you all have good overnight BG

Hi @Knikki .
The Doc Martens.......very interesting if not even a work of art.:)
But why oh why are you doing Riverdance during the wedding ceremony????;)

Where the Chufty McBuff did you get Riverdance from????? :hilarious:

Even with the threat of being fed to a tiger I would not do anything remotely approaching that dance thing :yuck::hilarious:

On a side note sat here at 2.4 and feel rather spiffy, just waiting for the hypo gear to kick in.

Your feet just looked like they were in motion at the time of the photo. Riverdance was the first thing that sprung to mind ( probably not something I should admit to:) )
Hope the hypo gear kicks in soon.

Whey hey, a meal with a flattish within limits line afterwards, first time since Thursday, I've used a few more units Humalog over the weekend so I'm guessing I've had quite a shock to the system moving my night-time insulin to the morning after 34 years, and I think I'm going to see a change in my carbs to insulin ratios.

It feels odd not having a night time long acting insulin, really odd in fact, like something's missing :)

Night chaps. Just wondering if my little spike to the 8s was me under-dosing for my rather excellent apple and blackberry crumble at dinner or needing to up my basal. Hmm...
That is not a little spike, it’s a massive spike. You should not be eating this crumble. You obviously can’t manage your diabetes and eating this rubbish.
Continue to make the crumble ( it must be therapeutic) but you must then parcel it up and post portions to me and maybe @Knikki .
You know it makes sense.:)

Morning all. Hope you all have a good week.
Managed to get levels to 6.8 before bed. Whoop! Where they stayed from 10pm-2pm then up they went. 10.6 on waking at 6am ten minutes later as feet hit floor and I got going, 12.9. Insulin in, going to attempt my swim. This could be interesting.
Glad I have my hospital appointment on Thursday to discuss the bizarre happenings I have had over the last month.

Really good overnight for me bed finally with a 6.3, rose to 8.2 and going up around 1 am but dropped back to 4.7 on waking. And thats with a 20% reduction in Levemir, 26 units down to 20, in my new favourite injecting site

Have an appointment at treatment room today to get bloods taken for tests. Doc took them last week but for some reason lab left them lying for 2 days and did not test, then it was too late.

With the way my bloods have been recently, hypo/hyper and back spasms, just think something is not quite right.

Hope you all have a great day

And me

Good morning y'all :) better for me as I've had a flattish line all night, bit low at 4.2 at the lowest but I'll take it. oh and my bolus has only taken 20 mins to start working.

I was a little despairing by yesterday as I didn't expect as many highs but then again I guess that's why it's called a chronic illness, good luck with your swim @becca59 and I hope it drops your blood back down.

Oh :) and happy Monday :p

EDIT, go me :) 34 years T1D today.

Morning everyone, the overnight mayhem continues here. Three corrections during the night and woke with 10.6. Gone up to 10.9 despite correction. Change of both vials today and see if that fixes it.
