What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Night all my blood sugars seem a bit weird at night 2 hours after dinner I was 9.5 later went up to 10.0 then dropped out of nowhere to 6.6 I was dropping so I had a bowl of cookie crisp :hungry: now up to 7.7 also don’t know if it’s this virus I have but I keep feeling hypo kinda like a floaty feeling and sometimes I can feel anything anyway I better get some sleep good night everyone sleep well
Get well soon

Morning all. I was shown 5.2 today - just have to take it on trust. I do wonder if testing is very helpful for me at times - seems to have become more of a superstitious ritual. Clearly, my body will do its thing regardless of me testing.
Update: Thinking about it and want to test my ideas. Didn't go above 5 yesterday and put in some unusual effort. (Have hovered around 5.1-2 for a few days) If I'm right, my body is adjusting to what I am doing with its own re-balancing act. If I am on the right track then testing has a purpose.

Morning all. 5.3 today. Good weather promised, so long walk for me.
@rhubarb73 , Well done on your run. I do a few k on the treadmill, but could never tackle something like that.
@Ziggy2017 , sounds like a plan, hoping for good things.
Respect to all the T1s and insulin dependent T2 T3 etc, I cant imagine the effort needed to deal with it.
@ianpspurs , i have to believe that testing makes the difference. When I stick to my regimen, it shows in the numbers. When i dont, it shows also. If i wasnt testing, I would always deceive myself that I was doing enough.
Hope the new week finds you well. Hope yor BG is a PB. Have a great Monday.

Morning all a even 6.1 today, had really high readings all weekend into the very high 30's with zero explanation, no changes to eating patterns (even ate less than normal) lots of walking and exercise everything that normally keeps me low, I put it down to a glitch in my thingy-me-bob, my doodah is broken , ah well onwards and upwards.

Take care everyone.

I am glad testing has and still does help you and wouldn't for a second advise people not to test. For me I am aware it is a two edged sword . Earlier this year I chased lower numbers and unsurprisingly got them. Hba1c didn't really reflect that and, generally, I felt I had done some harm. It has taken me since June to partially re-balance. I am now very, very wary around meter readings but can't bring myself to ditch them.
