What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Forced out of bed by the pains in both legs and forgetting that the clocks were reset tested bloods thinking its 4 AM not 3 AM and got a devastating for me 7.3. May return to bed when pain subsides any way good middle of the night all and hope you have a good Sunday.

In pain & sleep deprived John you have my sympathy...fingers crossed you can get some restful sleep & that pains subsides swiftly.

Morning all. Take care @JohnEGreen sounds like a very unpleasant night. Hope the pain subsides.

@Fenn totally agree. Up with the larks as usual, but not helped by needing to go to bed at 6.30pm last night!
Up early but a dammed good sleep Goonergal...this clock change never makes for an easy transition with me...wide awake at 04:40 which of course was 03:40...urghh...too much to think about this early.

Morning...oh dear 6.2 for me this morning...how on earth???...wait it's all coming back to me...the dinner with my friends & neighbours...several bottles of Prosecco...one friend became so exuberant with her dance moves she hit her head on the chandelier.. the non stop laughing... .yes... it's all coming back to me now...the laughing...the food...the alcohol... well worth a 6.2

@JohnEGreen sorry to hear your pain issues and the early rising it caused. @Fenn I feel for anyone who suffers insomnia. @Bubbsie your evening sounds most agreeable and 6.2 is a sound return on investment.
Cold, dark. wet and approx 5 months of this excrement up with which to put. Gurning talking heads writing and broadcasting total bo***cks about how lovely it all is.
5.2 fbg so no leavening agent there. An awful lot of pressure to deliver riding on this pheasant and NFL later.
Yours in cheerfulness, Ian :arghh:

Your Birmingham sounds like our Birmingham, where I used to live. One flake of snow and then ... chaos and panic. And the stores run out of bread and milk here.

Hope your chaos isn't too chaotic.

It can reach that stage but it's more of an unfounded fear. Midlanders are cursed with a condition where they forget what the weather was like beyond a week ago. This means that yearly patterns always take them by surprise ;)

My first GMT bg of the season is 6.5 at 0600, enjoy the day :)

I love the Old Fen Boys™, who forecast the weather for months ahead by the taste of Old Jim's nettles and other highly scientific means. Alarmingly, they pretty much get it spot on hence their ability to play with six figure boys toys:angelic:

When I lived in Wales my neighbour would predict the days weather by the height the gnats were flying at, he was more accurate than the BBC (I believe they use tarot cards). ;)

Good morning all, a hefty 5.9 for me, maybe it was the wine, no dancing or chandeliers (do you live in a palace @Bubbsie). Up early due to clocks and memory, going to get the fireplace in order and get a blaze going
Good man for having a fire @trick60 - according to The Sage of Grunty Fen you might want to ensure you have plenty of fuel this winter Apparently, the poo from Will's donkey is a very odd shape " an that allus means 2 beef puddins on a srtck far (fire) all winter":angelic:
BTW - no chandeliers old chap? - how very unfortunate.
