First date with internist to ask if she could try to find out what type I have went perfect! She was lovely, happy with my last hba1c of 38 without worrying about hypo's, didn't give me a lecture about smoking, alcohol or weight and agreed that ordering a C-peptide and anti-Gad test was the logical thing to do. Should those tests prove inconlusive of my type she wants to check for MODY as well, even though we agreed that that wasn't very likely.
She'll call me in 3 weeks with the lab results![]()
Double posting, put this in another thread as well. But I'm annoyed enough with myself for two people so I guess that's all right.
Why not eat a whole grapefruit as dessert after a low-carb meal and forget to inject for it. The night before my first date with an internist (as opposed to GP practice nurse, who is the only one I've seen in regard to my diabetes) and with a lovely libre graph to prove my stupidity![]()
