in eating the omad
can eating it at breakfast time
say before noon at least
can it lower the morning fasting numbers
as opposed to eating the omad as supper?

i eat my omad at 6pm
but im wondering if eating earlier
can help lower that fasting number
when i get up
because it has all day to be fasted off by
the next morning

I’m still finding my way myself, and I don’t often do omad, but I am finding that having my main meal earlier in the day does usually give a lower fbg.

Try it and see - only way to know how it will affect your personal FBG

How would anyone else's results possibly reflect your numbers? Pretty simple logic

Yes, lots of factors at play here. Your lifestyle (habits, work hours/activity hours, mental work etc), and your metabolism (activity, appetite, individual chemistry etc).

For me, I can do the one meal best when it is in the afternoon, as I can push hunger and activity levels (as in keeping them low to cope with the no food) in the morning. I can cope with no food at night by keeping activity levels low again - so most comfortable to eat in the early to mid afternoon. Then I can do something in the afternoon and early evening - with the energy that meal gave. Also, when I tried it, my FBG was much healthier looking, the next day.

Somewhere I read that eating in the middle of the Day was the best for glucose control. Something about higher insulin resistance in the morning vs less activity at night leaving the middle of the day as best. The only way to find out if it works for you is to try it. Personally, my meal is late because I’m not usually hungry in the morning and once I start to eat I have a hard time stopping. Would rather eat late and go to bed before the hunger or mindless desire to eat kicks in.
