@karen8967 my fingers are crossed for your job interview.
@Fairygodmother my others fingers are crossed for your knee.
@DCUKMod I hadn't realised people wear nighties. I had PJs for my hospital visit and they hid all the bits I didn't want exposed whilst providing good access to everything that needed to be. But there again, I don't think I've worn a dress at all this year. Perhaps it's a pump thing - when wearing a dress where do you hide a pump in a place that is easy to extract when you need an insulin dose?
And today, I need those doses. I've worn these socks before without any trouble but my day has been
7:15 wake up - 6.1mmol/l
9:00 breakfast + dose (usual stuff of about 30g carbs) - 5.3mmol/l (not sure why lower but hey ho)
meetings, emails, chat (nothing stressful)
11:30 preparing for spin - 11.3mmol/l (***?)
11:32 retest - 10.2mmol/l (better but still higher than I expected)
11:36 after hand wash - 11.8mmol/l (correct assuming 11.0mmol/l and did not reduce basal)
12:15 on spin bike before class starts - 10.7 (still, technically a bit high but kept the pump on and gave myself a micro correction of 0.3mmol/l)
12:45 spin completed - 8.5mmol/l
13:00 back home - 7.4mmol/l (things are starting to behave again)
I feel a *****'s drawers have less action than my BG.
I will progress with the hypothesis that Fiasp dose not last as long out of the fridge (my vial is coming to the end). Start a new one tomorrow and see what the world brings.
