@WuTwo
I have been surprised by people buying a small sharps box when they go on holiday because they thing they have to use official containers.

If I thought the small container had to be a proper yellow one I'd just print a label saying "This is a Yellow Sharps Jar" and stick it on the coffee jar :joyful:

And now - I have a date with my bath tub and a bubbblly bomb! It's husband's turn to cook so I can swan round like Lady Muck and know I've done my chores. Bliss!

Actually I want to make Parmegan (vegan parmesan) tomorrow so I need to photocopy the recipe - dead simple - and find an empty kilner jar to put the stuff in.

Please don’t jump to conclusions here but I don’t like baths. If I have to have a bath, only ever happens if we book an holiday cottage in Cornwall that has no shower, it always makes me feel bad. Laying in the heat isn’t something that sits well with me.
Love a shower, a cold/ coolish one on a hot summers day is a must.

I think the only time I've used my bath since moving in was when the shower needed a part replacing. I'm not really a fan of having my legs half way up the wall to fit in the bath!

Just remembered to book in for some blood tests before my next clinic appointment in a month. Hopefully I've been doing well enough with having the Libre now to bring my average down a bit this time.

@db89 . I’m sure you’ll be surprised at the effect of using the libre will have on your HbA1C.
Just a quick question.
Are you really tall? Or have you got a really small bath aka a sink?:):):)

I hope so - the estimates in my apps are about 9-10 lower than my last one - those are only estimates though, and as I've been finding out Libres and CGMs can err/drift either way a bit when they're not calibrated.

A combination of the two really - I'm 6'1" height wise but, to borrow a phrase, I couldn't swing a cat around in my bathroom. :)

We are lucky - this house st.ill has the very old bath that was in it when I came. It's a cast iron, long effort. I wanted to replace it years ago but I'm so glad we didn't! I think about getting it re-surfaced but I wouldn't actually change it for a new one now. It's bliss. I am 5'7" and can lie down flat in it. They don't make them like that any more without going into the expensive, luxury range which is beyond our reach.

We took our bath out and replaced it with a bigger shower - haven’t had a bath for years!

Night all. Had a nice day at a small local quilting show and then went on call, fairly uneventful apart from a “nana down” - she had t2 but wasn’t on any meds for it and had no idea what her sugars were as she didn’t have a monitor. Ate the recommended low fat carb fest, but I didn’t get to find out more as she was whisked off to hospital. Bloods not bad and I’ve eaten too much Roquefort to soak up too much whisky.
