Type 2
Second year in! HBA1C 6.0. Chloresterol 4.3. Everything else normal. Urine test sent to lab and eyes next week.
Medicine still 1 X500 Metformin daily.

Weight a tad less at just under 13 stone from 17 stone 2 years ago.

DN was happy - should I be?
 
Sounds like good progress - are you asking because you’re a bit disappointed or because you’re not sure?
 
Sounds like you should be. What was the previous a1c?
 
Your HbA1c just sneaks into the non diabetic range, your cholesterol total looks impressive to me too, but to be sure it would be good to know your breakdown. Good weight loss too! Overall I’d say you should be very pleased with yourself!
 
I try and overall in 2 years my HBA1C has reduced from 6.5 and my weight by 4 stone. It does seem to have been a long haul.
Strangely my wife said to me let’s
go for an Indian tonight - first in 2 years.
BS before 5.7 and on arrival home only 5.0 BUT I had 3 glasses of wine and a single whisky.
So balti and naan no worse than other foods?
