What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

A relief the numbers are going down, corresponding nicely with the foot swelling. Is today the start of your big drive?

Yes, just about all packed. We’ll set off after lunch- lots of extra time built in but it’s my mother’s influence over the years. I’m not quite as bad but I’ve nearly missed planes too many times to want to watch the ferry go without us.

Dentist then, to hopefully sort out this sheared off tooth.

And here is a pic of the art work I did in garage yesterday. First time experimenting with string painting. These are the best of a bad bunch. It’s only my first attempt. I need to try again. I promised I would teach it at my art class on Thursday. They want to do a feather. I haven’t figured out yet how to do a feather...

Wonderful artwork, thanks for sharing it.
Hope the dental work is not too hard on your pockets

They seem to have cancelled out all the nasty things, which leaves sleep apneoa and my allergies. Thye aren't prepared to rectify my septum as the risks are higher than the rewards. Anyway, I feel happy enough with what they have :)
As long as you are happy then all is good. Sometimes it can be best to leave things as they are if risks are higher than rewards. Enjoy the rest of the day.

How horrible for you. I can’t imagine how debilitating that must be for you.
Has the hot weather had anything to do with it?

Maybe allergies to animals? A friend of mine used to get horrible migraines. They seemed worse when her dogs slept with her, but I don't know ...

@gennepher your artwork is stunning, I keep having to go back and have another look.
@Viv19 hopefully you’re well on the way by now - I’m the same with getting ready early, I hate the panic of worrying I’ll miss a plane/ bus/ train etc so have to leave myself a buffer of several hours. I don’t care if I’m really early, good excuse to relax with a coffee and my book.
Well, Dennis’s puppy training went well - he didn’t disgrace himself ( although being taken out to a grass verge to relieve himself then eating a lot of rabbit poo that I hadn’t spotted wasn’t his finest hour - nor mine as I tried to scoop the now soggy lumps out of his mouth. Yuk!) we are now practicing walking round the house without him nipping my heels ( and without the need for bells so far @jjraak )

6.7 Tuesday morning after only a 5-hour "fast" (late to bed, early to rise).

I was going to get out early before the heat kicked in, to make some copies of my bank statements for the new apartment appointment, and pick up statements from the pharmacies. But I started watching a really good old movie and now it's nearly 11 and already 87 degrees outside and I haven't even had my shower yet. With this heat I should go on out and THEN take a shower after I get home! 30 degrees C.

Wow. Phone says it's only 81 degrees out there! 27. Guess I better go before it gets hot(ter)! :)

@DJC3 I'm glad Dennis's first session went so well. And congratulations to you for removing the rabbit poo! Ick yuck! Oh, well, better than him eating kitty poo or horse poo, I guess. :D

I do not have the dogs upstairs so I doubt it is that. I am beginning to conclude that it is stress related.
