What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I’ve signed up to do a ‘Muddy’ 5k Race for Life.
Good luck DJC...I'm almost envious of your being able to wallow in all that mud legitimately...I can't tell you what my mother said the last time my brothers and I did that...even better it's for a fantastic cause.

he's your furbaby
I think I need my own 'furbaby' in the house john...having my friends lively King Charles Cavalier on the 16th for a few days until the 21st while they have a quick break...will decide after that.

I do believe that you will indeed "breeze" around the course, whilst having fun!! You can let the postie say hello to Dennis, just ask him to wait a minute first then pet him. It will be good for Dennis to have social interaction outside the house, and he's your furbaby so you set the rules for him. Good luck on your Muddy Run!!

We can compare successes on Monday (hopefully)
Thanks for the postie tip - I thought I was doing the right thing by encouraging the interaction. Our previous 2 dogs hated postmen, even unfamiliar ones we walked past in the street so I was hoping to avoid that situation.

Never watched it DJC but familiar with the general gist of it...if it means we get to eliminate the 'baddies' one by one I'm all for it...lets start with Jacob Rees Smug who had to apologise this morning for his shameful comments about Dr Nicholl.
Isnt it just great when they call on experts for advice and then rubbish it ..a bit like getting an electrician in to replace your fuseboard and then telling him you want it done your way and not his way.

Well when you decide if you can, head over to the Edward Foundation there is lots of Bullies needing new forever sofa's, but only if you feel able to put up with one again after "Plumpy". sending a virtual hug.

Thank you. Not sure I can do it tbh but my daughters signed me up ( bless them!) and have promised to help shove me round.
2 of our boys have done a similar thing but not for charity. I love the idea as a spavined old wreck doing something similar with them being my support team. Fantastic thing for your girls to do with you. Pictures of muddy D essential once you have recovered.

Good analogy PM agree absolutely...perhaps JRS didn't want him to get to the stockpiling of body bags for the morbidity rate that was calculated...frightening TBH.

Might even change my avatar if I’m covered in mud and unrecognisable!
Hope you get to do something along these lines with your lovely lads. The girls all do Park Run and energetic stuff like that so I think they’ll probably take turns to run ahead then loop back to me while another of them bombs off so at least they get a good run too.
I won’t eat breakfast that day as I’d probably be sick with the unaccustomed exertion, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens to my bg.
