I will be changing my avatar shortly too, as I use this current one on my Facebook account sometimes. The green circle is the Loop logo.I like the names @LooperCat
You could tell him to keep his eyes closed. Not uncommon in unconscious bodies. Or you could approach him with the steth in one hand and a rubber hammer in the other and tell him you'll make things a bit more realistic if he doesn't start behaving like an unconscious body.I’ve also got to practice my “secondary survey” skills but need an unconscious body for that - husband is willing to let me practice on him but seems to find it hard to remain professional I only have to wave my stethoscope at him and he gets that glint in his eye Flattering but not helpful
My actual surname is (as far as I know) only shared with my husband, as it’s one we put together after we married. A google search only comes up with me or him. And as I’m on the road to becoming a healthcare professional, I’m taking precautions now to help keep my online presence lower key than it has been. Not that I’ve got anything to hide, but in these politically charged times, I wouldn’t want my employment chances harmed if the interviewer happened to do a search for me and find that politically we’re poles apart. Would an ardent Brexitter choose to employ a vocal and very politically active Remainer, and vice versa? This country is so politically divided just now, that I’m adopting a more prudent approach to my online identity.@LooperCat I have deliberately not used this avatar anywhere else, except with my diabetes-related blog. I am Japes or some variation of it on other forums.
Both my names are too unusual both as names and in their spellings for casual use on the internet and given I work in a relatively specialised field in education I'd be far too easy to identify by students! Just done one of my occasional checks and the only things which now come up for my name, correctly spelt, are organist related ones and a family history connection which I've been unable to persuade the perpetrator to remove. I was happy to share the information, as we could fill missing gaps in each other's work, but I wasn't expecting every last e-mail to be published on the internet!
Ironically, my names in their more common spellings bring up a diabetes-related death story!! Bad handwriting led to a wrong insulin dose in hospital kind of thing.
