Very happy for you 5 is my favourite number too. Tagging @jjraak to help you celebrate.

I don’t know what mbps thingys may be but they sound impressively quick
I don't know what they are either - but whatever they are they should be running at 25 not 1.06 according to BT. Hopefully it will be sorted soon - before I chuck the computer out of the window.

Me too on the organisation front, not living up to my signature box motto I'm afraid

@Krystyna23040 I am the same regarding carbs 20 grams seems to be my optimum limit per day. However I do not enjoy lots of high protein meals so between a rock and a hard place, but heyho that's the way it has to be so lots of nuts and too much snacking for moi.
I can't do high protein either because that spikes my BS also. So fats are fine but not double cream because that stops my BS from dropping down. Nuts are fine (thank goodness as I love nuts) and I especially like them with cheese.

Good morning from the delusional steering committee of the dismal and unrelentingly grey of a day not quite called Monday, dies lunae, but no moon to be seen due to a 404 error or just loss of signal.

The wonder wheel of close encounters and narrow escapes (with food choices - don’t get overly excited) was 5.6 this am.

Things you find when you are bored and confined to barracks for having the audacity of being a bit under the weather; Can cat’s be both solid and liquid at the same time? According to Marc-Antoine Fardin they are. He won the Ig Nobel Prize for it ( a parody of the Nobel Prize that honors research that “makes people laugh, then think.”) Strangely, I don’t thing that Schrodinger nor Pavlov would have agreed - mind you, I think that they both hated animals.

Have a great day if you can, see how many containers your cat fits perfectly into if you can’t.

Congratulations!

A lovely low 6.6 this morning and although the KittenCat let me sleep in the sun did not. Putting the clocks back this time of year makes sunrise come too early, and sunset too. We need more hours of daylight at the end of the day, not at the crack of dawn!

I will be taking the KittenCat in to the vet's after lunch for her yearly wellness check and vaccinations, so must remember to book Uber about an hour from now. She is having her bath now -- must be clean for the vet check! ^. .^

Morning all. @DJC3 good start to the week and enjoy Harrogate - (I was underwhelmed);

I have fond memories of Harrogate, although I haven’t been for over 30 years. Last time Mr C and I bought, on impulse, a huge, expensive, gorgeous rocking horse for our daughter, then 2 yrs old. We struggled to get it into our estate car and struggled even more to get it in our from door. Horse is still in use by grandchildren today though so was worth it ( not much mane or tail left mind you). Whatever Harrogate is like now, that won’t matter, it’s the company that counts.
I’ve a feeling you’re not really happy anywhere but your beloved fens.

@HarryBeau sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather, hope you improve quickly. Thanks for the info re chimney sweep it's reminded me I have to get our wood burner flue swept, another thing to get organised this week. I need to make the best of our wood burner before it is banned completely even though it Deffra approved and I only burn kiln dried wood.
@DJC3 enjoy your outing, I will wave as you pass overhead on your way to Manchester.

I’ll wave back!
Are wood burners going to be banned definitely? We have one and it can’t be beaten for cosiness, it’d be a real blow if we had to stop using it, although I know there have been grumbles along those lines for a couple of years.
