Insulin resistance

So I guess because I am needing more and more insulin and am putting on lots of weight I am insulin resistant.......what can I do to reverse this please?

Go as low carb as you can stand and try to make sure your basal is as low as you can - nothing worse than having to take extra carbs for a hypo when you're not even hungry. Exercise also reduces insulin resistance but watch out for hypos.

Reduce carbs as much as you can and use intermittent fasting. However, you’ll need to take care to avoid hypos as you’re on insulin and ideally should have some advice from a doctor or diabetes nurse to help with adjusting your dose.

My bs run high so I don't think I will hypo, my diabetes support is terrible, I've learnt more over the last few weeks on this forum than I have over the 36 years of having diabetes

Ouch, then there's a good chance your basal isn't correct anyway. Just be aware that there's a good chance you'll hypo if you reduce carbs and take more exercise, you'll almost certainly need to reduce that basal.
