What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Ok I resisted the urge long enough ;)

Destiny 2 is a 'massively multiplayer online role-playing game' or MMORPG for short. There are two 'forms' of players, actual players like me and non-player characters (NPC) that are computer-generated. Destiny 2 breaks down into two forms -
  • Player versus player (PVP) what it says on the tin, all contests are between real people
  • Player versus environment (PVE) is a real player versus computer reality.
I prefer PVE because I don't like 'killing' real people, I find it weird. Also, the game has a range of stories (conquests, discovery etc) that you can take part in to win advancement in rank (those numbers we spoke of 960,840,900), new skills, weapons and upgrades.

It all takes place over several simulated planets that have been invaded by certain types of aliens. In the game, you can choose to 'design' your character within limits. I chose a female Hunter who comes with a wide skill set that I can change for each encounter. The other base forms are Warlock and Titan. Titan is a brute force character, Warlocks fly around like fairies :)

Because the game is social at its core you have clans created by players. You can join a clan that has the same values as you do, form a new one with friends, or play alone. Clans are competitive by nature and will generally indulge in PvP. This video is a starter, well... you asked for it! :bag::)

Looks interesting @OldButBold :)

It's not everyone's cup of tea but it keeps my brain sharp and for me, it's a lot more interesting than a crossword :)

I'm going to be a bit cheeky here and see if I can put this on the page. I just created a YouTube channel and made this short clip of me actually playing D2 an hour ago. Unfortunately, I use three wide monitors so it might look odd. Just testing it out :):)

I can see why you would need 3 screens! I only have the iPad screen to watch :)
Crossword puzzles and the like are not for me either.

I am tired so nearly forgot my daily drawing/painting challenge today.
So I did a quick drawing within the SketchClub app. I just use my finger on the touch screen of the iPad. I have more control than using a pen or a brush.

That is fascinating. It looks like a fun app.
And I love the look on the cat's face.

That looks like fun! It looks much better on your 3 screens than the other video did. It reminds me of playing in my backyard with friends when we were kids. Except for the ruins. :) Thank you for posting it.

Something my son would enjoy I think. He certainly likes his strategy shooty up games. I gave up on him when I saw him trying to play a computer game whilst nursing his baby daughter.

Indeed, I wish I had done so too, although games were in their infancy. Now they spend as much as a major movie to produce and many have known actors voicing the roles. Destiny 2 graphics are not that good either compared to other games like Witcher 3 or even moddables like Fallout 4. With my mods in place my game is photorealistic. It's funny that I upgraded my graphics card a few months back thinking it would last a couple of years, it is already lagging behind ;)

Well, I started out singing "Baby Shark" but then I had to move on to the theme from "Jaws" and then "Mack the Knife"
(der Haifisch, der hat Zähne), and then I had to start all over again because those are the only three songs I know about sharks.
Either someone will have to post a YouTube video of more shark songs, or I will have to go aboard a submarine to learn how to take a 60-second shower!

Okay, I know absolutely nothing about the Kindle Fire. But, the Emojis on the smile site give an option to download. If it is possible to download the emoji, then within the docs app there is local storage where you should find the emoji. Then I am assuming that when you want the emoji for this site, you press upload a file and you should find it in local storage.
But I know nothing about the Kindle Fire.
The kindle fire gives me the option to download from the smile site. When I open the downloaded emoji it gives me the option to open it with Amazon photos. When I open it with Amazon photos the only option is to download it again. Have gone through this several times and it is beginning to feel like groundhog day. Really pleased that I was able to save it on my PC.

I have been puzzling that question today. I am in the elderly category but neither look nor feel elderly and still work a six day week teaching exercise. At least I am at the moment. Will be speaking to clients this week to get an idea of how long they want to continue classes.

Janet Street Porter was having a bit of a rant a couple of weeks back that she may be in her 70s but she is fit and active and is not elderly.
