What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.3 this morning.

Ella Wheeler Wilcox’s ‘Dawn’

Day’s sweetest moments are at dawn;
Refreshed by his long sleep, the Light
Kisses the languid lips of Night,
Ere she can rise and hasten on.
All glowing from his dreamless rest
He holds her closely to his breast,
Warm lip to lip and limb to limb,
Until she dies for love of him.

Beautiful John. Thanks for that. What we need is a voice over of that poem with a gallery of the artwork from @Muddy Cyclist @gennepher and @geefull . Maybe some wistful music from some of the talented musicians on here.

Hi, 12.7 for me- my first time to check. Looks like l have a long way to go...
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. You have taken the first step by testing and joining here. Plenty of support here along the way - bound to be stumbles and some tough going. I look forward to watching and learning from your journey. As the cliche goes, it's a marathon not a sprint.
