The libre reader itself, that little black monitor, can take glucose strips and ketone test strips. Although you only get ten ketone strips in a pack.

Had no idea they did that.. do you usually get strips along with the reader and inserts?
Mine doesn't have any.

I measure ketones in my blood with a freestyle libre. I imagine an ideal ketone level would differ for every individual. For me personally, I aim for between 2.0 and 3.0.

You don't have to test for measuring ketones, if you have a reliable glucometer, you can work with that.
It's only if you have abnormal ketones readings on your annual tests.

Yes, I've used the reader with both glucose and ketone test strips when I have been wearing a sensor.
