What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

No idea of FBG but an hour after CWC BG was 6.6
Chandeliers repainted, and another coat on the walls, MrSlim says he has several days work cleaning (yet again) the stonework and beams. They will probably look the same to me when he has finished, but he can obviously see the difference.
Today is a sunny start, but the garden is sopping wet and squelches underfoot. Don't think I will be doing much out there, it's cold as well, brrrr. Winter woolies time. Need to get out my warm hat and gloves.
Errant is still not eating as much as usual and has lost weight. His voice is still a bit croaky and considerably quieter than usual too, although he has regained his purr and sometimes manages a chirrup.
He continues to eat clay. In fact he seems to be doing this more often. Am going to try and get a video of this behaviour to show the vet, if we decide he needs to go back.

This gang are infamous for defecating the bed, the carpet, on anyone under 40 and over vast tracts of the UK. Their leader is renowned for it. Some kind of odd compensation fetish related to his small hands or other appendage. The cleaning bill goes to our children, grandchildren and their children. Such jolly japes. I'm a huge fan of their work:angelic:

Getting a video and a few photos of different places that Errant eats dirt sound a brilliant idea @SlimLizzy
Mr Slim is very thorough in the work he does. It will look good when he finishes...
 
Good national bin day Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who avoid political party conferences, unless they supply free good koffy.

Another 5.1 this morning on that scheming meter,
So far this morning plinky plonky practice was a disaster darlings a disaster, but the tea and koffy was ok. Can anybody enlighten me and me’s how you can play the chord of H#minor if you don’t have 7 fingers that can span 2 octaves? Perhaps I should take the sadly departed Fred Wedlock’s advice and just belt it with a length of lead pipe.

I wouldn't mind one of those!
At least the wind cannot steal it. My plastic tables are anchored down with rope and heavy objects against the high winds...

Perhaps Mr Slim is happiest when he has various projects in progress @SlimLizzy
Maybe he never needs to progress towards completion?
Just make sure the rooms you are most interested in do get to completion...and leave him with the rest...

It's not really his fault the ensuite shower room isn't finished, the shower cubicle came without hinges so impossible to fit the door. And the family bathroom is useable, just don't splash any water on the floor...since the visitors cancelled ( covid rules again) he moved on to a different and (in his mind at least) higher priority job. The salon, which is where he has been ever since.
By the way I was wrong about the beam, it looks so much better with wax polish.
Will be looking with interest at the stonework tomorrow.

I am currently trying to catch/find a 29 year old elderly cat to give him his nightly dementia tablet...he has eluded me for an hour...he has acquired the art of invisibility...

Update: Found the little Angel..he was hiding behind a curtain.....

Fbg 6.6

Creative stuff this morning. This started as the top of the cream in my coffee...put through a few apps, then created a red sun with Snapseed. Put the colourful squiggles (which originated as the cream on my coffee) using double exposure round the red sun, and here you have...something...

Morning all. As requested a little more summer here so shorts, no socks and on we go. Fbg will stay a known unknown. I did stab a few times but Tee 2, in the posh name for a shower room in the bedroom, set gave all kinds of mad messages and readings and went in the bin. Downstairs one - exactly same age meter and strips - is a jolly good boy/girl/non cisgendered/?/whatever it self defines etc device. @gennepher amazing transformation. My dyed in the wool blue family feel The Giant Squatting Toad (copyright Tim Shipman of The Times) gave a stand up comedy routine pretending the UK is actually something like your Snapseed fartnarkled work. Etonian Delboy delivers Sunny Jim's infamous crisis what crisis faux pas. Locally, huge need for pig culling which really ain't like a bacon sandwich - category error. His base don't really do Specsavers so on we go. Meantime - the text above says it all Genn.
