The wonder wheel of a vegetable stir fry with zero noodles came in at 5.0 this am

When you are emptying kitchen drawers, don’t just shove your hand in - something nasty like a great white may be lurking in the deep. Where is the best and safest place to put the extra blades for your Japanese mandolin? I don’t even play such a thing. Trip to London is gaining pace - I ironed a pair of trousers yesterday and checked that I could remember the lock combination on my suitcase. It’s exhausting. What is it with blackbirds and autumn leaves? Two of them, Mr and Mrs, in the garden hopping about, picking up leaves and chucking them over their heads. Just wait till Mr Robin sees them then they will be in trouble.
Art bit - runny ink on rice paper. Have a great day if you can (Mr Robin has made an appearance) best make myself some koffy.

Morning Team D (full fat version) This post could end up anywhere, sorry guys and sorry @karen8967 your meme is of course right but I'm badly wired. I'll be fixed in the next life so no sweat. I'm not blessed with the talent to synthesise Remembrance day - 1 grandfather in WWW1 trenches, 1 in the rearguard at Dunkirk, relative died on The Somme, 1 injured and treated appallingly in Korea - just some of the millions of stories (some from members here, now); yesterday, today, the nonsense we are being fed by Uknow'OO plus Martin of Tours into a pithy or workable "thing"
Yesterday went well for the Venerable RR - Harry (top, top bloke)- who passed the MOT with nothing needed. In other news I acquired 2 cashmere jumpers (1 on offer, 1 a Christmas present) - I adore cashmere - learned about a climatarian diet, discovered swede purée - which works for me (not the outrageous tbl spoon of salt) - drove the new, upgraded, Kia for the first time and had a less scary experience in the local supermarket. The people we use - 4 x 4 specialists - are in probably the prettiest village in Cambs IMHO. On the way I saw an elderly lady peddling a child’s toy quad bike:cool: and a farmer spraying a sinister looking green liquid:arghh:, Ian 6 Wednesday 1 - until I ate sausages - Ian 6 Wednesday 6. No, I didn’t have 5 but they aren’t really food are they?
Thanks for the Remembrance day graphic @karen8967. Likewise the art @gennepher and @dunelm . I don't need hugs save them for , say, @Krystyna23040 who patently cares for her clients so much and @SlimLizzy - I do need tea. I always need tea. The stays? So last year/century/millennium/epoch along with squashed Sombreros, the war to end all wars and homes fit for heroes etc. Chune

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.

A 5.1 this morning on that meter of mystery.
Here in Tilehurst Towers the local fusion reactor is doing it’s thing and giving us blue sky’s, such luxury.
Stay well, stay safe and stay apart, all is not well in the kingdom of covid.

Two different black pens, sprayed with water.
It was drawn as cliffs and a seascape..
Sprayed it with the water mister.
First of all went a black mess.
Then dried overnight into not a seascape, but as a landscape with trees on upper right...
One day I will succeed with a seascape.

Like this, to me it's an estuary with the tide out. Does that mean it is a seascape?

Rush, rush, rush, no time to stand and stare - train to catch. Off the London for the weekend. British Museum this afternoon to see the great wave off kanagawa exhibition and then dinner at The Troubadour.
Art bit - some poppies - have a wonderful day if you can - best get my skates on

5.3 this morning. Beautiful sunrise as I sit here with my coffee. Classes are local today and don't start until 5pm so should have a good catch up with admin day plus a bit of time to relax and read.

Black pen work.
Spray with water mister.
Tried using a brush with water as @dunelm suggested, but the ink didn't move, but turned the area yellowish where I used the brush (brush was clean). You can tell which areas I used the brush with.
I don't like this one. The black ink didn't move as it usually does when sprayed with the water mister. But one more spray of the water mister would have sent it into a lot more darker areas, possibly too dark...

As @karen8967 reminds us it is indeed that there Friday once more here in UK. Whilst I obviously have an fbg I know not what it is. I do care but just now I choose the road less taken - by me. Noise cancelling/line in sand style of thing. Interestingly, my resting pulse, sleep scores and weight are all where I want since ditching the swiping malarky and playing around with diet a tad. Eat water pasta and katsu curry over mince was edible and fitted in with the family menu - cottage pie. I probably need to draw a line under 2 other issues: regulars know my faith and my disdain for BJ and his enablers - time to leave those alone. @Krystyna23040 today sounds better organised but by whom?:angelic: @dunelm have a great but safe time in London. Thanks for the poppies - our oldest granddaughter is called Poppy after her other grandfather who was in the military. @gennepher thank you for the creative which reminds me of the "scrubland" in this part of Breckland. That is oddly one reason I haven't settled here - do something with the land or get off it:arghh: Tongue in cheek chune (on point for many hereabouts) as JKP hasn't packed yet and No 1 son is not here until 5.00 am on the morrow:angelic: Was that really worth your time reading or mine typing?
Breaking news: I'm worried now. Are using that song and an old fogie wearing earbuds cultural appropriation?

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

A horrendous second attempt at a blood sugar reading, the first was a Lo and the second a 4.3, this morning, it was a case of dig out the old maths books, steam driven slide rule, tea bag reading mug and wet finger held into the wind. Diabetes is not straight forward, quantum mechanics / physics / mathematics is. Sympathy is not required.

Here in Tilehurst Towers we have Mr Plumber moving a radiator, as per normal for here, not a straight forward procedure. Me and me’s hope that when he gets under the floorboards we don’t have to call out the cave rescue team from Brecon.
Now I must go and keep well out of his and Mrs J’s way.
Stay safe, stay well and stay apart.
