Second priority is to spend some time thinking where you stand as regards your usual daily carbs intake and processed food intake, and compare these with the low carb eating patterns described comprehensively on this site and on many others. Third, or co-second, is to get a glucose meter and learn how to use it as a guide to progress. Don’t be anxious, your starting point looks much better than many on this site, including me, who have got into remission very rapidly by straightforward adjustments and no medical interventions.
