Air fryer

I have a dual drawer one, never had my main oven on since Christmas, it’s perfect for us as there’s 3 of us who all eat differently, I do almost everything in it including boiled (technically baked) eggs. I find it great for when me and hubby have the “same but different” meal such as fajitas, the clean up so easy too, I buy parchment liners and I also have a couple of silicone dishes. Wouldn’t be without mine

Although I rarely venture into the kitchen, my boss uses it all the time, literally every meal I think, we have a Consori one we’ve had forever and I just bought her a dual ninja one for our 25th anniversary present, lol I know that’s funny but she’s put up with me that long, she’s kinda stuck with me now :) so a big thumbs up from the male chauvinist corner on air fryers.

We recently got one and have used it many times, probably more than we use the oven now. Extremely convenient and cooks food just as good as it would in an oven.

Husband says it does Yorkshire puds very well, I wouldn't know of course! We use ours more than our gas oven and we also have a combi microwave which we use a lot too.

My sister just gave me a counter top air fryer last week as her new oven had one built in.
I love it. Meals ready quickly, usually in less time than it would take for my oven to preheat.
I bought a keto for air fryer cookbook and there are so many recipes I am looking forward to trying.
Love that I can cook a chicken breast from frozen and it turns out perfectly cooked and nice and juicy - not dried out.
Just bought an accessory kit that included a muffin mold, a pizza pan and a cake pot plus a few other items that I probably won't use.
I highly recommend getting the parchment paper liners ( hey look like giant coffee filters) to make clean up a breeze.

I have a ninja duel and love it. I’ve had it 18 months now and still use it most days. It cooks enough for a full meal for two or three including a full chicken roast with potatoes/carrot/parsnip (not that I eat many of those!). my mainoven is hardly ever on. We have saved about £20 a month using it instead of the oven.

Ours is on right now, cooking a joint of beef.

Ours is used several times a week. There's nothing like it for chicken, pork, lamb where you might want a crispy skin or rind. Were ours to break, or more likely wear out, we'd replace it in a heartbeat.

I’ve just borrowed my sons whilst he’s away. Very handy for one or two or just a specific item. However when cooking for a large or hungry family it’s not so practical. I can easily fill a normal oven for a meal so it cannot replace the oven for me. A handy extra if I had the counter/cupboard space

There are some larger, cabinet/microwave style machines out there, including this one, for example: https://www.samsung.com/uk/cooking-...&affiliateid=639029&clicktimestamp=1681067115

I have never owned a drawer style AF as it always felt rather restrictive.

I have an oven style air fryer & love it so much, I'd marry it! :woot: I don't actually have a regular oven & don't need it. I can cook anything, the spit roast is brilliant, does need to be a smallish joint or chook under 1.2kg, but that is fine. I have several different foil trays I've kept back from various things & line them with foil to keep clean up to a minimum & the trays reusable, ideal for roasting veggies, cauli/broc cheese etc. Also use one with water in under a roasting joint, to catch the meat juices, then ideal for gravy too. Duck legs/breasts done on the mesh shelves are divine & worth any mess. ;)

I have a Cosori, and I haven't used any of the main ovens since Christmas. I cook steak, chicken, lamb chops and bacon in it. As well as bread rolls, fish fillets and, occasionally, sausage rolls. When it goes to air fryer heaven I'd definitely get another one.
