This morning's fbg was a very satisfactory 5.5 very happy with that.
Have been reading that Japanese Knowles is edible but none growing nearby and not that curious to taste.
I do have groundsel and wood sorrel. We also eat groundsel and wood sorrel. But have not yet graduated onto plantains. Plentiful supply here. Although we did try Pennywort this year.
Have been reading that Japanese Knotweed is edible but none growing nearby and not that curious to taste.
Been sitting out in the garden this pm. Very quiet apart from the birds singing their hearts out.
Not too hot today, but trying to keep sun off my skin.

Thanks @ianpspursMorning all. Today we are all off to the cinema in Llandudno - family have booked one screen? room? whatevs to see The Little Mermaid. I don't like the cinema but the Ancient Greeks said the family that go to the cinema together stays together. Gypsy Wood Park, Bontnewydd, Caernarfon, yesterday, faces painted, hair braided, pockets picked. Bison steak and salad for evening meal. Cambs buffalo is better imho but I'm biased.Organic milk from Y Sied Laeth in one mug of morning tea - mix up with banana milkshake first off. We have seen Waitrose delivery vans here in Nefyn so modern life is (or could become) goodish - JKP likes that guy. @gennepher thanks for sharing the creative and introducing us to Mr Pork Pie. Have a great day everyone and remember how blessed you are to have teapot.
Lovely valerianFbg ... I forgot to take it when I woke up. It is now 3 hours later! So, I'll do it tomorrow.
Trail camera...badger. This video was taken a couple of weeks ago, just before I tied everything to the swing.
The wet badger eats cat biscuits...
Creative is Valerian. Done in Procreate first, and then did this effect with it, because my painting didn't look very good!
Looks better like this. Seen an ox-eye daisy in the garden.might do that for tomorrow, if I remember...
I spent ages yesterday evening setting a camera in the kitchen. I've moved some shelves into the kitchen so that I could attach the trail camera at the right height to see if I could see who is taking the trays of cat biscuits. Took me about an hour to do it, because I was testing it. It was the right height and angle, but unfortunately it's so lowdown it is difficult for me to alter the settings and put the SD card in.
I also spent an hour yesterday watching YouTube videos of how to place the the camera so it would trigger off, and one included a man crawling on the floor of his hallway, and in and out of his doorways in order to show exactly where the camera triggers off...
And so armed with this knowledge, I set the camera in the kitchen.
It's at knee height, impossible for me to alter settings at that height, but I can just about get the SD card in.
Nothing vanished last night. But I was rewarded with Mr Porky-Pie entering the kitchen many times and feasting... I am not going to listen to any of his pleas this morning, that he is a hungry cat and needs feeding...
The other cat that entered many times in the night was Merlin.
Time for a nap and a cuppa...

Art bit getting quite substantial now @dunelmGood morning everyone on what just might be a jeans and jumper day here in the dark and dangerous north. A rest day yesterday with nothing much done - apart from feet up. Tried the Turkish eggs recipe . We both enjoyed it and will certainly make it again. Might be nice with some cheese grated on but wanted to see how it went with just the recommended ingredients. Might be a walk down through the woods this morning so probably collect some garlic for soup later on. Somebody mentioned Plantain - the plant that really gives - it makes a good salve that is good for skin irritations and insect bites as well as a useful vegetable. The seeds used to be collected, dried and pounded into a flour. Art bit, coming along. Have a wonderful day if you can. My kofee is now finished.

@SlimLizzy 85 Tomato plants!!!29.05
9.05am FBG 5.7
Hoping to get stuff done today
There are 85 tomato plants. Or which about 60 are seedlings. I need to make decisions about which ones to keep. For there are also peppers, cucumbers and a couple of aubergine that wi all need larger pots or transplanting outside soon.
The balance is, not to think you can do all of it like you used to or as much as you can before you stop.Tried to rake up some grass left after it was cut, and Marjorie keeps look telling me not to.
Found I got out of breath so had to rest and use my spray! It's this striking a balance between doing too much and too little.
