Not nearly as bad - typical, now Ive booked an appointment! But it’s still there and if it’s an abscess it’ll just keep coming back so I’d best deal.

And I did go for a swim & all those endorphins whizzing around making me feel tons better.

How’s your earache?
 
Afternoon all, didn't post when texted this morning but fbg was 5.6 thought something was up because I've not had numbers like that In a while so did it again and got 5.8 . No rhythm or reason didn't do anything different. Enjoy your day folks

Good luck at the dentist. My ear is still blocked and a bit tender but keeping up with the Otex :)
 
Howdy Folks! Back home after a successful quadruple heart bypass. So happy to be back home away from hospital. The expertise and genuine care of the NHS is breathtaking.

Thanks to all here for the best wishes you’ve shown me.
 
A very gratifying 5.3 this morning for me. A late night and a v low carb day yesterday possibly the reason.

Dentist dished out antibiotics for suspected abscess without the usual reticence of my GP, but told me to ask the pharmacist for any interactions with Metformin… Yeah, right. Obviously not been in my pharmacy recently. They’re so harassed that just asking them for the time seems an imposition. Dr Google and the online BNF here I come

Having just finished having tooth issues, I sympathize. Can't help with the metformin reaction as I don't take meds, what dentist did say when he finally removed the problem teeth was that I might hypo apparently due to too much adrenaline floating around in my body. I didn't react at all that I am aware of but if you have the tooth extracted, its maybe something to watch out for.

Bloods seem to be stabilising somewhat now that my recent issues are resolved. FBG this morning was 5.4. Hey, hey! On the downside I got a text from my GP surgery telling me my annual review was due and to make an appointment. Er no! Its not due until end of June and used to be July so I think there will be some delaying tactics going on on my part. Currently I am estimating A1c average to be high pre-diabetic due to stress and infection issues which have been having a negative impact. I know its a 3 month average so cannot achieve my "normal" expectations, but as the A1c is weighted towards the last couple or 3 weeks (I think) so I can improve things slightly. Won't be contacting docs until I am forced to. ;)
