2023/24 Football Season.

I forgot to post last night, not sure I logged on!
We got three points, 2-1 from a poor Bradford side, cookie monster did score, but only once. We now have a two point gap from the bottom two. And a win at home to the cod army on Saturday, would make nonsense of our staff to the season. Once again, tho, I have a feeling that we cannot play like that first half and not get best.
Bradford were poor but in that first half, we were dreadful!

Well done mate. You did better than us. We were by all accounts absolutely terrible. Carry on like tbat and we'll be relegation fodder.

Mark Hughes getting his P45 after that.
Not too surprising. Not sure he is really cut out for management, though more than a few clubs have given him a go...
 
Away at Raith Rovers (Kirkcaldy), taken up full ticket allocation.
Raining since last night and not due to stop till Monday :arghh:

Away to the Owls in a big Yorky Derby. Neither of us are in good form at the moment so it will be interesting to see what happens. Watch this space.

0-0 draw. Against them lot it's a disappointing result. We remain just 3 points above the drop down zone. Next up is a Home tie with QPR in 2 weeks time. If we were to lose that one then we really would be in trouble. QPR the team that's 3 points below us and in the drop zone.

We should have been put in our plaice! Fishy around here!
Took lead, then stopped playing. 2-1 down at half time. Equaliser but our keeper was brilliant to stop them winning. That is 7 points from 3 home games. Not bad, but haven't managed a point away so far.
Three points off bottom two. And if we don't get something soon from away games, we will probably be back down there.
But, the same weaknesses don't go away!
 
Trains to Kirkcaldy cancelled, too much rain. Still filled the place.
RR are second, they took the lead 1-0 at HT. Not fully fit striker came on, scored goal, 1-1 FT.
Away point is good.
Dundee FC game off due to water logged pitch :banghead:

Still raining...

Yeah it could well end in tears for them just Like Sheffield Wednesday sacking Darren Moore.

Another disaster at Crewe.
Lost 2-0
Had two men sent off.
Played better with ten then nine men.
Just not good enough, out of relegation by goal difference!
Worrying times. (again!)
