Acceptable BG range?

What do you personally consider an acceptable BG range? I've set my CGM to 4.0 - 6.9 as "green" And I'm there about 85% of the time.

I'm content with this, though it comes by taking two types of medication, and severe diet restriction. It is what it is.

I'm curious to know what others consider "good".

My last A1C was 6.5% I'm hoping the next will be below 6. That is my goal - to be in the 5's.

I have my ’green’ zone set at 3.9- 8.0 and currently am 100% within that range. I changed it to your parameters so you can compare and I hit 95% on target. My last HbA1c was 36 or 5.5% in the units you use. Sounds like you’re doing the right things to reduce your HbA1c next time.

This is just what happens in my head - it has absolutely no justification and I don't offer any for it, other than that I really do not want those diabetic symptoms back.

Personally, I want to see a +2hr reading at 6mmol/l or below: I had a 6.1 this week, highest for quite a while.

I don't really care about the fasted morning value but it seems fixed around 5.3mmol/l anyway; and I expect an HbA1c of somewhere around 36mmol/mol (5.4%)

When you say +2hr - you mean 2 hrs after a meal? What do you find acceptable for a meal spike?
