Fabulous, sure you haven't been taking photos in my garden @gennepher?

We had the same worry when Mr K 's dad came to live with us. Luckily he didn't attempt to cook anything.

One day I went up to his room. The wardrobe doors were open and all his clothes were gone. He had also disappeared.

We eventually found him. He said that he could only wear one set of clothes so all he needed were the clothes he was wearing and he had taken the rest to a charity shop.

Thank goodness we were able to retrieve the clothes.
a conversation happened in our bedroom, where Mrs L informed me that we will have to go through her clothes, the reason was, Mrs L couldn't understand where they had all come from. Claiming that her wardrobe was not bought by Mrs L. She knew about the pjs, but the million items that are crammed in there, no idea at all.
so it was, yes dear. We can take them to the shop etc.
not until I sort them, Mrs L replied.
yes dear!

Well, it is a fact. Time is running out for all of us, one way or another; sooner or later. No point worrying about that. It's just a matter of when and how and since we can't really control it, no point worrying about that either. What will be, will be. It's not in our hands. On a personal level, that's OK by me, but when it comes to my loved ones, I find acceptance more difficult. For example, prayed so hard for my brother's survival after heart surgery, although it seemed unlikely at times. Either my prayers were answered, or he would have recovered anyway. Probably helped me though.

I heard about that research implicating processed and red meat in T2 amongst other things. I wonder if there are any independent studies being done into the effects of carbs on general health and T2. Maybe the meat effect isn't so great without the interaction of carbohydrates.
Maybe, publish the research done on wheat and grain.
on any manufacturing process and product that is consumed, Wheat is in bold letters.
not only for gluten or replica intolerance, but for the wheat itself.
Grains are similar, it's not the carbs, it's that the edge vs of the make up of the plant itself because of its genetics, but how it's processed to make the flour. Then the additives and production sugars etc.

But the government advisory group won't publish what has been common knowledge in the Canadian and U.S. media for quite a while now.
Don't forget, little is good, too much is bad.
Doomed!
We're all doomed!

6.8 this post footie evening, morning.
Mrs L has been ever so happy to help with deciding what we are having for food later and tomorrow.
Mrs L has decided to have a gammon soak, for this Sunday, tomorrow. One I had bought to freeze for chrimbo.
So it's pork chops later, with of course the pigs in blanket, that were also for chrimbo.
Never mind.
Mrs L has decided to move the rugs around until my son brings the carpet cleaner around.
Hiding the inevitable consequence of her status.
There was incidents and accidents.
Hints and allegations.
Wonder where that came from AL?
Mrs L is worried about Chrimbo money is coming from?
I cannot answer her, as it has not been a worry for me since it is still August.
Having a large family it is something to decide, but who knows between summer and New year?

The pharmacy has solved her delivery at last.
One of two phone calls saved.

Weather was very nice and warm this morning, sunny, slightly windy but I got some hours tidying up the leaves already starting to like up, not Autumn yet, surely? Saying that, the wind direction is defo autumnal.
It has since clouded over, temp dropped, got a lot windier and more rain on its way. Downpour last night caught a few out.
Cricket on at Old Trafford, doing quite well so far. Until.......
Well, it is Mancland!!!

My best wishes to you lot as always.

I think that you should have been appointed Head of Research at Cambridge University @Annb.
Looks like she's been lobbying doctors. Good girl for limiting the EVO buying to just the one Mrs Wembley. I expect Mr K had a word :playful: Here's my B12 for today.

Take it easy on your vacation. O/T I find the word staycation unduly vexatious.. I've just eaten one of these with my afternoon tea - during the Test Match tea break. Nice tribute to Graham Thorpe. I don't know exactly what plant based butter is used - definitely not this one due to cost - but the doughnut was divine daahling, divine. JKP can and does make them but she's busy enough.

Sentimentally attached to nasturtiums. My dad used to grow lots of them and we'd love the leaves in salads way back in the 1940's and 50's. My brother and myself used to just go out into the garden and chomp our way through several leaves at a time - loving the peppery taste. Never used the flowers, but I think you can. Can't grow them here - too wet I suppose.
@Annb I use the leaves for salads.
And I use the flowers as well.

Back from the US scan. Feeling fairly bloated with all the water I had to drink an hour before the scan. Turns out I have a duplex kidney. Never knew that, or even heard of it before. No problems though; bladder and kidneys are fine. I'm just odd. It seems that my kidneys are lower than usual in my back and my heart is too close to the centre of my chest. On top of that, I'm type O Rh negative and a bit dopey. Just me being my usual odd self.

@gennepher thank you for sharing the kaleidoscope. Some sinister looking figures in the outer circle of the bulls eye: indicative of your mood following the close encounter of the wrong kind with the asthma nurse from hell? I would quite like to make a kaleidoscope of one of these which JKP grows. No success with the fruit being edible. I do like some flowers when in the right mood.

Thankyou @ianpspurs

Something seems to happen to the kaleidoscopes or my work where something like the asthma nurse from hell happens. I don't deliberately do it.

Here is a Karloff of your passion flower. Spellcheck altered 'Kaleidoscope' to 'Karloff'.....I don't know what Spellcheck knows that I don't...

I hope this kaleidoscope of your passion flower meets your approval.

Amazing Boris/Freida, thank you so much. Reminds me of those tie-dye's people used to wear back in the day. Laboscope app didn't down load on this Chromebook earlier for me to play with - then I remembered I don't do creatives so I didn't try again.

Just got back.
Been seeking advice on the asthma nurse from hell, and the potential that the diabetic nurse might be the same. There is a twist to this which the person I asked advice from knows the backstory, Their assessment was the same as mine, and I have been given a potential strategy for the diabetic appointment should it be needed...
Tired, and I have now to sort the recycle and squash the black wheelie down with the wheelie crusher. I could barely drag the wheelie to the curb last time...it was too heavy...
I just want to go to sleep...

I know that feeling!
However, I'm weird not odd, Ha!

Weird? Hi Donald. Michelle and Barack owned you yesterday. “I want to know,” .... “who’s going to tell him, who’s going to tell him that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those ‘Black jobs’?” :D
