2024/25 Football Season

We lost 1-0. No surprise there. What is surprising is that Birmingham were on fire and unlucky not have blasted us for 3 or 4. It's also a bad night cos the other teams around us all did well and it's forced us down to 15th place. 5 points above the drop zone and 3 points below the auto promo spot. Barnsley on Saturday so things could look even worse for us.

Somehow thought I had donethis.
Any who another draw to Swindle at home Tuesday night.
1-0 up at half time.
In the end !If my with a point.
Second half was horrible.

Away at franchise Saturday, think we will get beat.
Lifts and no crowd at stadium MK, memories.

Cheers…will keep an eye out for Tranmere, always come across as a 'proper' club :)
It was a proper football club.
We had the concept of home grown talent in bundles and produced quite a few decent football players.
Until our previous owner pulled the plug.
And then relegation to the national league, for three seasons.
The new owners, only interested in the then and now, prioritising getting back into the EFL.
We did but symbolised by getting did of the academy and reserve team footie, no u21, youth, nothing but a college, which eventually bombed two seasons ago.
So no future talent at all.
There is now, that the owners have realised a new talent pool of teenagers for what they are hoping to produce, but these youngsters won't have academy training or playing other academy players, which our ex academy boss has said is a must for teenagers.
And the people/coaches that gave us so much of the true Tranmere heart of the club, were moved on.
Hopefully, now, we will have new owners, who will offer this club, a future, which will give the unbelievable supporters of my club, the right to be competitive again. Which should happen soon.

My club with owners with no money, and one of the lowest budgets in league two and the national league.

Oh well another footy weekend looms and 2 back to back Home ties with our rivals from over the border in South Yorky land. Tomorrow dinner time and Tuesday evening. Got get our act together and send them back over the border with their tails between their legs.
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend. Hope they win.

Away at St Mirren and could do with a good result before yet another shutdown.

Good luck to our teams.

Now there's a pleasant surprise. We actually WON. Yeah you heard correct won 2-0 lol. Blimey I did not think for one minute that would happen but there you go. 7th Place at the moment but with all the others to play shortly that could alter by 5pm. Anyway lets enjoy the moment and seeing as we have done it today, there's no reason why we can't repeat the performance on Tuesday night with Barnsley again.

By god it's a damned good job we did win cos judging by the other results we would have been in 19th place where as we are in 9th now. 1 point separates us from play off's. And 8 above Relegation. Reports say that we played a hell of a lot better. I wonder what happened lol. Who cares we bagged 3 point's that's all that matters.

We managed a 1-1 draw, by equalizing in second half injury time.
it definitely didn't look like we would score, but a decent point anyway.
still 17th, if we had lost, it would have been just above relegation zone. Eek!

Tuesday, home to someone in the unnecessary cup v no idea, I don't care.
